T-HOPE ULTIMATE TERMINATOR PROJECT (Mainly Released)
Time
Just playing around with the next idea (which could be executed after my other Terminator dvd's):

Right now, I'm recording cutscenes from the game Terminator: Dawn Of Fate. I also recorded the first complete 2 levels in 50 minutes. That got me thinking. I want the cutscenes, so I have to play the game completely. What if I would record the remaining levels also, and somehow put them on DVD or so (would perhaps require 3 DVD's or so), is there anyone who will be interested in getting "this movie"? "This movie" would be basically me playing the game as complete as possible, plus every cutscene...

I have that one too. It's the Digital Domain workprint, but it's just the future war act until they enter SKYNET. I'm planning to include that on my T23D DVD I'm going to release. I think my DVD will cover T23D enormously.

I'm interested in that BTTF-TR footage... :-)

It's a treasured item now since the ride is soon to be lost in the archives of history (no pun intended) The quality is ok, I'd give it about a 6, but it's better than having nothing!

Is this footage an audience recording or something?
Any idea if this can be released as preservation since the attraction is going to be closed and replaced with the Simpsons?

I am planning to include Terminator E! True Hollywood Story on the T1 bonus disc, just as long as it will fit on it (or perhaps as a 2 disc version). But trust me, it will be included!!

Any updates? Not really I think. I had a lot of other stuff to do last days. The only update is the T23D project. I registered myself on a paysite and received some videos of the queue area in Universal Studios Florida, which is cool. Also got an old CNN report about Universal Studios Hollywood's T23D, yet it's a very small clip, so when I will convert it to fullscreen format, it will be messy like count the pixels. Yet I'm thinking of just including it.

Plus I found a shitload of more cool photos that I'm going to include. However, I already created the menuscreens for these subjects, so I have to re-do certain things. But it will be worth it.

Because all the shops where I live don't have it or tell me that they can't get it for me, because it's hard to get... I don't know if this title is so easy to get in the USA, but here in the Netherlands, it's hard to get (at least where I live). So that's why I took a look on torrent and found a 300 mb version of it in DGP video format (Nintendo Dreamcast format). I still can't play it.

Wouldn't the same source from Rankin/Bass have access to the Return of the King master material as well? Just a thought...

I'm still looking for the animated version of Return of The King. Found it on a torret site, but it's a Nintendo video format (DGS or sometihng, don't remember it and can't check it out because I'm at work right now) that I can't play on a regular PC. Really annoying.

Love to see that animated Return Of The King.

The bonus discs I have in mind for T1 and T2 are just additional discs to the already existing Terminator DVD's. However, due to some re-releases and for example the Extreme Edition has never been released in Europe, I am considering to include some of the other materials into these discs. One might say: "hey, all these Japanese trailers were already present on our Ultimate Edition DVD." That's right, but only on the region 1 Ultimate Edition DVD. All the other region releases don't have these Japanese trailers.

Plus ofcourse some stuff that should have been on the official discs. Like Guns N' Roses - You Could Be Mine. Man, I really missed that feature on the official T2 disc. Due to licensing problems they could not include it. So here it is for a fan preservation or special edition. Or the 1984 making of featurette of T1. It was a missing featurette on the official T1 disc. So I am trying to complete them with these additional discs!

Blade: Pureblood Edition (Released)
Time
Right now, I'm at 17.4%. As I can see I have downloaded 608 mb and uploaded 128 mb. I am sharing it, but since I'm also sharing at lot of other movies (including 2 versions of my own T3 fanedit), the upload is not fast from my side. I have an upload of 60 kb/s, and Blade is only taking 10 kb/s. The rest goes to my T3 fanedits, plus some other downloads that are busy.

Info Wanted: Questions about some Terminator fanedits
Time

As everybody knows, I’m a big Terminator fan. I also love the fanedits about these movies. I stumbled on some fanedits, but I could never find them any. I tried to find the faneditors (even contacted movie_rebel about his T2 cut, but he didn’t respond), but with no luck.

Does anybody know more about the next fanedits and if possible where to get them?

Terminator 2 - The Cyberdyne Cut - by movie_rebel.
http://myspleen.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=561
An edit of Terminator 2 with a few major changes and some brand new NEVER before scenes including new opener and a new dream sequence.

The new material has come from a number of sources:
Little seen teaser trailers
Re-used some footage from original cut
OST Soundtrack
etc…

T3: Terminated Edition by The Enigma Editors.
http://www.terminatorfiles.com/news/2004/2004-06-25-a.htm
In this new version, the film is restructured to allow for better pace, dramatic tension, and edited to remove some of the more ‘tongue in cheek’ moments that lowered the impact of the overall film.

Additionally, the beginning and ending have been significantly altered. Lastly, for all those folks missing Brad Fiedel in the music department… his T2 score shines, mixed carefully back into the Terminated Edition. We hope this version will appeal to people who were looking for a slightly tighter, more serious Terminator film, in the vein of its creator, James Cameron.

*Fanboy’s Offical TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES by familyguyfanboy
http://www.originaltrilogy.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=11&threadid=2997

Some changes intended on making include:
-Trimming many short scenes sprawled throughout the film that explain things twice(!!!) (Watch the film again, and you’ll know what I mean…)
-Cutting some of the vomit inducing one liners, and wink wink nudge nudge’s to audience.
-Re-iroducing the deleted scene from disc one of the DVD.
-Shortening up the pre-credit introduction. (It was a little long, un-clean and drawn out.)
-Removing things already explained in T2.

And of course I’m curious to:

  • CBB’s Terminator 3 - Terminatrixed.
  • Zarius’ Terminator 3: Destiny of the Machines.

But these are still a work-in-progress I guess.

I THINK I have a commercial for T-2 cups at Subway resturants. I'll check the tape to see if it's on there. Also, I have a Guns 'N' Roses bootleg video of the concert where the live portions of the 'You Could Be Mine' video were filmed. It is audience shot, not the greatest quality, but would be great for full preservation purposes (maybe a MUSIC sub-menu).
I have that video too, I actually didn't post a new content list of T2 because not much people reacted on it, only on T23D.
It was recorded in the Ritz 1991. It's a bad cam, slash gives a nice speech that it's for the Terminator 2 soundtrack, but a large part of You Could Be Mine is just blackness (someone's back?). But I'm including it perhaps, depends on the disc space. Anyway, I have that CAM bootleg on DVD, and it was already part of my plans.

I would suggest burning a DVD-R (or a couple?) with the menu files and DVDLab project files, etc. So that if you manage to uncover some more stuff, or some of the current contents in better quality, that you or someone else could easily create a "version 2". I do that with all my projects and it has proven useful in the past.

Hehe, I'm not sure if I will do a version 2.0. Right after this T23D DVD, I will immediately start working on the discs for T1 and T2. There's no time for a version 2.0.

Yep, I have thought about using menu's of the T2 Ultimate Edition DVD. However, have you seen the teaser I posted? The Endoskeleton head becomes the main menu. So I'm still trying to come up with something nice as menu, but right now it's just a black screen with blue font.

Anyway, to keep you interested while I'm working my ass of on this project, here are some screenshots of the opening of Terminator 2 3D at Universal Studios Hollywood. Yeah, that's Arnold Schwarzenegger with George Thorogood & The Destroyers, who had just played Bad To The Bone. Last pics are Arnold giving a speech, while Edward Furlong, Stan Winston and George Thorogood join him on stage.

Nope. I alraedy have them, but I will put these on my site. Not on the DVD set... I think. I will consider it, but I don't think I will do it. There are many more references to the Terminator movies in other movies (trust me, I have already gathered a lot of them).

Still thanks for the info.

2 updates on this project:
- a cool 4:26 featurette has been added to the videos.
- I'm working on the T23D DVD. The problems are the DVD menu's. I want them to be cool and fitting, yet I don't know what I should design.
- Right now I'm also waiting for some recordings from the themepark from someone on another forum.

Nope, yesterday I finally managed to capture some show from an old NTSC VHS tape (which costs me 2 days because I only had PAL equipment). So I can finally use that video too. I'm still working on the menu designs. I am having some issues deciding which menu to use.
