Harmy's STAR WARS Respecialized Edition '97 - AVCHD and MKV Released

The thread you mentioned in your post is the right one. Go to the very first post of that thread and click on the link in line 6 to get to HanDuet’s “The Ultimate Introductory Guide”.

All the details you need are there. Section 3, Step 7 of the guide is the most important bit as far as the actual Mega links are concerned.

Thank you so much!!! I’m ADHD an it’s sometimes difficult for me to manage through a world with what seems like so much clutter to me… sigh.

Should be able to get it by following the ‘ultimate introductory guide’ which can be found in the first post of this thread:

I hate to such a pain, but I’ve been reading through all these pages for long enough that my back is killing me, and i can’t find where to D/L the actual Files. I read about the Mega Server (great site) but I can’t find a link to the Mega D/Ls for a BDMV Folder.

Thanx in advance!

Info & Help: looking for... the Australian version of Crocodile Dundee?

If you look at the Additional Info, it seems that the second disc is just the DVD version of the movie. Judging by the number of language options available on both it seems unlikely that this is the Australian cut since they would have had to create all of those specific foreign-language tracks for that version of the movie. I’d happily spend the £9.99 to find out if this was the Aus cut if I thought there was any chance but, based on the evidence available, it seems more likely to be just an error with blu-ray.com’s listing.

Curious what you found out about the Original Aussie Version? I’d love to see it A friend had a terrible quality VHS version years ago, and he says it seems to have disappeared.

'Let It Be' - has anyone done done a quality preservation? (Released)

The recent “Eight Days A Week” documentary contained excerpts from Let It Be (the roof concert) in quite a great quality.

I’ll see if I can find that.

I heard rumors from a reliable source that there was a refurb of LIB underway years ago, basically to fix all the different Pitch Changes brought on by the Nagra’s Batteries running down and slowing the Recorder down… but it became untenable.

Idea & Help Wanted: Huey Lewis & The News Videos
Time

Hi again.

I managed to aquire the "Greatest Hits and Videos" DVD, and it has a few video that aren't on the above LD Collection...  so I'm a bit closer to my goal.

I also posted my little project over at:

http://www.hln.org/forumb/index.php?topic=5582.msg46466#msg46466

So if anyone is interested or has anything to contribute, please let me know.

Thanx!

(Wow... I guess chiming in every few years is not too bad...)

Not entirely.  I just don't know if there is enough overlap to be able to extend anything

Matt Frewer, Amanda Pays, William Morgan Sheppard (Blank Reg)... and Max.

Tis twoo...  I wonder how much you could add?

I'm curious about the formats too.  I think the Movie was filmed and the TV show was shot on Video Tape (If not shot on video tape, was certainly archived on it).

If I'm not mistaken there are some shots from the Movie that are already in the TV Pilot.

I found the whole series on a torrent.  Video quality looks good, audio varies from ep to ep.  Only problem though is that they're taken from TechTV who apparently cut down the opening credits to bare minimum.  Anyone know if the original credit sequences are out there to be had?

Thanx so much for responding.

You probably have the .avi versions that have been floating around for years.  The big problem, besides the bad edits, are that they have a few different codecs... so data players like my Phillips DVP 5140 won't play either the video or the audio on a few of them.

If you look back through this Thread you can find posts that point to TV Archive Projects that have them available... and you can compare the file names if you like.

I have tapes of the complete series from SciFi TV and A&E (or was it Bravo?) that I'd digitize, but my research says they are both edited.

The whole idea of this Project was to find unedited versions... so far... zip.

Thanx again!

Sorry... I kinda hit an impasse of sorts.

I can't seem to find enough info on which broadcast versions were complete... had the best sound... best picture.  Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to find good copies digitized from the Japanese Laser Discs.  So far no luck.  I'm not even sure how many episodes were released in Japan.  My research says they released the first 6... but I've heard different stories.  I saw a box set once a long time ago on clearance... i didn't grab it.  My bad.

Hey Mitch:

Thanx for the info.  I work in comics, but this is the first Comicicon in a long time that I haven't gone to.  All the versions I've seen are no better quality than the ones I've got in .avi format... and the usual extra features are the Coke commercials and the Art Of Noise video... I've got most of that.  But I'd sure like to see any new versions.

None of the versions out there are legit.  If you check out MaxHeadroom.com, there's some info there about Lorimar, etc..  I worked for a small DVD company that wanted to license the property a few years ago... but it was a real mess, so we couldn't get very far at all.

What I'm looking for is good quality complete versions. (See above)  I'd like to find out which broadcast versions are the best in terms of quality and completeness.  If anyone knows more, please get back to me.

Idea & Help Wanted: Huey Lewis & The News Videos
Time

Thanx a bunch you guys!!!

Mitch:  Thanx for the idea... Is there a way to change the name of this thread?

I have access to the Laser Disc "Huey Lewis and the News Video Hits."  I think I can get it digitized... but I'm curious which format I should have it digitized in.  I guess it needs to be as independent files for each vid so I can add others (in chronological order, natch) whenever I find them.

This is the listing on the back:

National Anthem (Live)

Heart Of Rock And Roll

Is It Me?

Some Of My Lies Are True

Don't Ever Tell Me That You Love Me

Heart And Soul

If This Is It

Bad Is Bad

Back In Time

Power Of Love

I Want a New Drug

Working For A Living

Finally Found A Home

I think some of the videos are from live performances... not sure which, yet.
