Klokwerk's CBB DVD Covers Thread (3 Covers + Disc Art Available)
Time
Yeah, I thought it was very close to the retail art. I don't know if that's good or bad. It suits the film though. :/

My original pick was to have the eyes on the back too (the pair from the front started on the back when I had the "sunrise" pic on the front). I am still fumbling with ideas and trying different pieces of hi-res art that I've acquired for this film. I'd like to know which pair of eyes you'd prefer to see on the cover though Meedermow - the male ones (one the back atm) or the female ones (on the front atm)?

Well, here's a newer preview of the version going in the slightly more 'horror' direction. I will work on the other version when I'm done with this one. I tightened up the "27 Days Later" text on the front, removed the drop-shadow effect and resized it and the biohazard symbol to make it more closely resemble the 'official logo' for "28 Days Later". I also changed the front art (obviously) and added the alternate set of eyes to the back cover.

Please let me know what you think, and remember the other version will be completed eventually.

I am changing what I'm doing. Boon23 is the member from CBB that's on these boards and so I kind of like to get advice/instruction from him. However, I will make a 2nd version available with the concept that I showed in the preview. I'll see how both versions progress. I am working on the cover at the moment, hopefully the next preview will be closer to completion.

boon23, the symbol is the 'biohazard' symbol. Dictionary.com had this to say about 'biohazard' (I couldn't think of a goodway to describe the meaning):
1. A biological agent, such as an infectious microorganism, or a condition that constitutes a threat to humans, especially in biological research or experimentation.
2. The potential danger, risk, or harm from exposure to such an agent or condition.

If you want me to drop it from the cover, let me know. I think it's fitting though (and it is plastered all over "28 days later" stuff).

Well, in a sting of procrastination (damn Visual Analysis crap), I dug up my old unfinished CBB covers. Here's the first preview for CBB004. boon23, is the front cover any good? I tried to do something different to all the red/black/london/biohazard stuff. I am toying with different ideas and I have only free time here and there, but I think I can get this done sometime this week or next. I really want to finish my set of CBB covers (so that I'm up to date).

Actually, reading through the early pages of the thread has uncovered a post that you made stating that bh011, bh012 and bh013 would be the 'Science of Star Wars' specials (dependant on audio/video sync issues). So, I guess, it would be cool to see them sometime in the near future.

Thanks mate. As soon as i get the 2 Omnibuses done i'll get them off to you for distributing. By the way, have you had many requests from your part of the world?

That's great. Thanks again. I guess this means that the Omnibus specials are the next 2 DVDs?
I've had 4 requests so far. I know there are a few Australians on this board (maybe 3 total - including me), but I haven't heard from them. The 4 requests have been from friends and family.

***//BUILDING EMPIRE\\: PAL & NTSC DVD - NEW EDITION NOW ONLINE! ***

Well, here it is, FINALLY:
Klokwerk's "Building Empire" DVD Cover
This a YSI link so sorry to those of you who have problems with those. This was a last resort. This link will expire in 3 days or after a limited number of downloads. I would appreicate if someone who downloads it could host it somewhere (without reducing the filesize). Thanks in advance.

Also, the bottom-left aspect ratio symbol is something that I knocked together as I couldn't find something that classified video as "anamorphic widescreen with various aspect ratios". Plus, this "logo" matches the aspect ratio logos I use on my CBB covers.

Well, bearing in mind that I was working on a low-quality image (and had to use a Han/Luke/Tauntaun pic to cover the worst cloning parts), I've uploaded my cover for Building Empire (see post below). The colour has been shot to shit through working on it (and trying to make the image linked to a few posts back match with the part that I had). Let's just say: I really hope someone around here can get a hi-res version of that art/flyer. If that happens I'll recreate this cover with the higher-res version and that would solve many of the problems I ran into while trying to do this version.

By the way, I took some liberties with Jambe's logo when I recreated it in hi-res.

Jambe Davdar:
I DID! I started work on a cover using that but got stuck when it came to doing back layout. This was back before v2.0 was released. I only had the 2nd half of that image (front) to work with too. I'll fire up Photoshop and see if I can improve it somewhat. There's also a similarly styled piece of artwork for ROTJ that I planned to use for my eventual "Returning to Jedi" cover. It's a pity that there aren't hi-res versions of these 2 pieces as I think they are unique and would be perfect to use for covers for your 2 projects.
