What does the blu-ray set have to offer?

 I was looking at some 1080p images of the se's from a uk hdtv channel skyfield I l belive. heres the links : ANH  http://tiedostot.tahtiensota.net/ANH1080p/ , ESB http://tiedostot.tahtiensota.net/TESB1080i/ ,       ROTJ http://tiedostot.tahtiensota.net/ROTJ1080i/                And yes they have fixed colors.

Judge to answer your question my guess is their will be new transfers of the films to Blu-Ray because when you restore a film to blu-ray you can't just slap on the dvd transfer of the films you have to make new masters of the films to HD. As far as the sound goes let's all hope the soundtrack is good for blu-ray and fixed this time around.

I will refuse to buy STAR WARS on bluray!

I am a audiofile here just like everyone else and I do agree blu-ray sounds a lot better than both dvd and laserdisc. Blu-ray just sounds better period than all other audio formats combined.  I am hope the audio for the star wars blu-rays sound good. And I will be buying them on blu-ray. Now do I want the original cuts of episodes 4, 5 and 6 on blu-ray yes but I am not going to complan no matter which version is released on the blu-rays.
