Awesome. Thanks for the spleen.
Awesome. Thanks for the spleen.
I now hear these edits are being released over the weekend. Looking forward to it...
I have to agree. The brighter settings look excellent. Good job.
I'm really tired of the lens flares complaints. Aside from Star Trek 2009, what other JJ Abrams movie has excessive lens flares?
And I would argue that the problems with the Star Trek movies are down to hack writing, rather than his direction.
The shorts comprise of original material, not taken from any episodes proper.

What's your opinion on SW Revisited?
Worthy of its own thread.
I'm digging the Retro.

I know that this site absolutely loves these edits
I think you will find this site is made up of members with individual tastes an preferences. To say the site loves a particular edit is a bit of a generalisation. We're here because of our love of the original trilogy (in particular, the pre-SE versions), rather than of any particular fan edit.

I aim to have the V2 releases of Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi out in the next month. I've finished regrading Raiders of the Lost Ark and should be finished with Once Upon A Time in the West in the next few days, then I'm focusing all my attention on these Star Wars V2 Semi-Specialised releases.
Bumping for update. How's it going, kk650?
So, Luke's hand (still clutching his dad's lightsaber) flies out of Cloud City and lands on Tattooine? Riiiiggghhhttt.
If they're gonna make this stuff up, they should have said that Vader's lightsaber (or remnants of) somehow landed on the moon of Endor. That's remotely possible, at least.

Blinky!
FINALLY!!! I was wondering if anyone was going to get the deliberate 3 eyed reference.
If the creature has 3 eyes on one side of its head, wouldn't it have 6 eyes in total?
Are you being ironic (like rain on your wedding day)?
Jango must have the only helmet in the entire SW universe that doesn't change the tone/pitch of his voice.
I didn't know George Lucas frequented these boards.
I was under the impression he returned to the US for rehabilitation. If he's back in London already, perhaps he will be back on the set sooner than expected.

The regraded prequels sound interesting. Would somebody upload it to a certain spleen ?
I'm seconding this request.
So far, only the 8gb version of ANH is on the 'spleen. I would love to see the 16gb versions.

.....Looks like the Falcon could be 1:1 going by the Mail's report:
Harrison Ford broke his leg in accident with Millennium Falcon, publicist confirms | Mail Online
Ford was about to start a scene involving the 111ft vehicle when the incident occurred.
Millennium Falcon specialists over at 'Full Scale Falcon Build' are working on their 1:1 ship which totals 114ft.
Do you want to tell them they are 3ft out, or shall I?
If you return your BluRays you should then delete all your fan edits based on the BluRays. Thems are the rules.
F*ck the snitch, get the strap, don't give a f*ck... BRAP BRAP BRAP!!!
And so is the inherited headbangerism.
Ask Lucas. It was his crazy idea.

Of course, the fact that none of the stormtroopers with spoken lines have Jango's voice or accent doesn't matter in the slightest.
The Stormy who bangs his head has no lines of dialogue. It's possible he was a Jango clone, even though the Stormies with dialogue were not.

Since when are Stormtroopers clones?
Since GL decided to show this http://tinyurl.com/onksyrn
as the genetic origin of this http://tinyurl.com/pjy6egj
What exactly are you working on, Hal? I'm a fan of your PT edits, so I'd be interested to see your take on the OT.

Art should generate an emotional response. Surely, that is its purpose. Art without emotion is a very boring thing.
