Wow, you’re really good at this. My only minor criticism would be: perhaps you could photoshop a different lower half of his body on? I’m just overly familiar with those hands and belt being an ANH Luke thing.

I and others would be interested to see what jonh could put together to replace Luke and Leia. Very diplomatically said. I would have said Ben looks like a hobbit on his way to Mordor in the tests being released. TROS already has one hobbit, it doesn’t need another lol. I know Hal said Ben’s ghost looks ok but every idea here seems to go through the ringer except this one which is just going through as-is… no bueno. The footage used for Ben was chosen because he was smiling but the composition with added hair, etc increases the cartoonishness. The Luke and Leia force ghosts look slightly strange and Ben looks very weird. I would prefer to see if jonh has time to redo them all correctly.

Of course, when I finish the palpatine fight, I do a test 😃

EDIT: The better choice would be to get rid of the whole “make the sacrifice” shit at the end. But that’s easier said than done since it would remove the entire impact of Rey force passing the saber to Ren. Also while editing I did tinker with cutting off the word dead so Ren says “Do you know why the Emperor’s always wanted you?” And the results sucked. Someone might be able to get it to work but they would need to find a sentence spoken by masked Ren that he ends with the word “you” in just the right cadence.

Palpatine may be cheating on him with the sacrifice because he knows that Ben will go to her, and palpatine what he wants is their Force, to heal

This is brilliant. I would have the holograms of young Luke, Leia, and Han flicker. Then Luke and Han flicker off, leaving only a young Leia for the final shot of this scene. Or otherwise dolly the camera forward just so she is in frame. This for me is better than a purple lightsaber.

It might be too much fan service though I don’t know anymore.
