fun times. i have to say... it would be fun to have an AVCHD SW marathon.

fincher's "the game" could be a good project. using the hddvd source + 5.1 and DFNYC's criterion collection commentary
also, were you going to do an AVCHD of the southland tales cannes cut? just curious.
avidemux can handle h264 well (there are two modes to try).
have you mentioned your SW AVCHD projects before? i didn't notice. cool.
AVP made a special edition and upped to RS - check FE
itsy bitsy puggo <-- lol
i vote for 1 pass Q1 also. just see how it turns out ?
fantastic news.
linktalk
you could start your own thread at linktalk ? uploading to RS is a lot better than seeding a torrent.
and with jdownloader premium AND free users can download very fast from RS now.
you could convert this to 720p xvid plop it into an AVI while keeping the AC3 sound.
i do all that kinda stuff in avidemux on linux (and there is a windows version) - it uses ffmpeg libraries for decoding so it supports a wide range of input.
add the AVCHD m2ts file, change video codec to XviD, add a resize to 720p filter and encode at Q2 and you'll have a great looking AVI playable on xbox360 and ps3 - will probably be ~2GB.
imageshack.us has a 5mb image limit
just need to convert it to a playable format on the 360. h264+AC3 will not work on the 360 in any format (that i am aware of...) - you'll be converting either the video for 720p AVI or audio for 2.0 MP4 UNLESS you encode both for WMVHD.
this isn't "Episode V: Revisited" - this is a color corrected HD broadcast converted specifically to AVCHD.
well... even if the sources AREN'T 16:9, these could (should) be encoded to anamophic 720x480 for the DVD, right? i mean... there just isn't any reason NOT to do it that way (other than possible bitrate bloat, but you WANT that, LOL).
LOL @ kid n play
this would be a fun watch again, yeah.
if this is "superman4thefinalcut" than you had a banning coming to you WAY BEFORE you were banned.
my advice is this: DO NOT mess up your time here at the OT forums as well.
true lies?
absolutely... did you check your PM?
mmm is there a reason this isn't anamorphic, FF?
FF, you have a PM :)
evidently they don't know this... and the OP has been a member for < 2 weeks. i sense a post deletion soon.
i'm assuming that the PAL DVD is a bootleg, right? if so - perhaps you could upload to rapidshare/linktalk as this is essentially a PAL VHS preservation already... i've not heard of an official release.
also, i'd be interested in a straight LD>DVD preservation. i would be surprised if the PAL DVD and NTSC LD are the same.
perhaps childs play? that didn't make it to bluray (and i was never able to get the hd2dvd...) you have a PM, btw. ;)
this is absolutely great news :)
now uploaded to linktalk is a new high quality AVI (Xvid) for BOTF - followed soon after with TCW.
