More aliens makes more sense given how many races lived in a galaxy far far away. One question if the Empire were such human supremasists why is the reballion 90% human. Id think most alien races would love to kick the Empires ass more then most humans.

Digital effects look better. But it would be impossible with modern technology to create a digital Natalie Portman that can match the perfection of the real thing. Many things could not have been done with traditional effects. Yoda fighting for example try that with a puppet.

Also the more aliens the better. I assume the lack of aliens in the original trilogy is thanks to the fact that the Empire were human supremesists.
