A lot of people on here still put the OT (even ROTJ) over everything and they don’t necessarily say how much more they like the OT than TFA or the PT. Though with the PT it’s kind of obvious. Anyway, I was actually talking about the internet as a whole and the fans you encounter every so often in real life. It seems like even criticizing the OT is still a mortal sin to a lot of people.

I mean this is originaltrilogy.com. If anywhere, you expect to find the largest percentage of OT purist here. My experience with regular people is that they mostly either like all Star Wars or not liking any at all.

It seems they are making a film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1219827/) starring Scarlett Johansson as Motoko. Sounds nice but it could end up shit.

Btw, the title and original post do not specifically state to list films. So you can easily list non-films as well. But you are limited to Star Wars stuff as the thread is in Star Wars Discussion.

It’s in the ANH ball park…kind of but ESB? Absolutely not. ESB is a nearly flawless film and ROTJ has a multitude of issues that prevents it from even being great. Putting those two on the same level is blasphemous.

The thread is not about what movies you deem the best. A lot of those have sentimental value more than anything.

Films are all subjective, so favourite and (your) best are kinda the same.
