People (which means me in this case) have been rehashing their arguments because the arguments themselves has been rehashed over and over again. Whether on here, TheForce.net, youtube or even 4chan people have the same arguments over and over again.

Plus, repeating arguments seems like nothing compared to, for example, Warbler’s name calling.

What performance? Harrison was rather at his average in TFA. Even in ROTJ, when he obviously didn’t want to try too hard, he seems amazing compared to TFA.

What you basically end up doing is effectively using scale X/9.
Perhaps the only reason for not normalising that I can think of would be if you had a multiple personality disorder and you had to average the final score between multiple personal scores. But in that case you would have to sign your posts with “Team Lord Haseo” and possibly break the forum rules.
Seeing as how 10/10 is perfection and no film is perfect it makes perfect sense that I don’t rate anything close to a 10/10 because I rate things based on the dictionary definition of perfection. Not what I would deem as perfection.
