Ideas for the inevitable Super-Mega-Special-Ultimate 2007 Boxset
Time
Theres one of these threads at starwars.com but I didnt' bother posting in it cause it was already filled with alot of bad ideas. Replacing Obiwan with the new actor? Nope.

I really would like to see alot of the creature effects replaced with CG versions. Especially yoda. And also fix the light saber colors. I know my first one is blasphemy thing but since I got my original versions now I'd like to see it tweaked out more.

How I learned to stop worrying and love the 2004 dvd's

I consider the SEs to be experiments, curiosities, oddities, whatever- but they're not the real OT as far as I'm concerned, and they never will be.

You're not even alllowed to do that kind of garbage with DVD rules now a days. But he getting away with by saying it is bonus material. And it makes no sense for him to advertise it as the OOT but put no effort towards what he is marketing. Then he is saying that they are the theatrical version when there not. The colors don't match the theatrical version, we are not getting a theatrical sound mix--just the 93 laserdisc mix, and the "original crawl" that we are getting is a newly made one without the EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE.

Please go back to tf.n or sw.com and leave us alone.

Damn, so you mean they didn't clean up the original films and ported the laserdisc version? I thought that was a rumor. Sucks that it came true, But is there a difference between the original and the laserdisc version? Excuse my newbness.

Episode VI: ROTJ - What Has Changed?
Time
I'm glad you posted this, as I just got the dvd today. I believed as others did, that the original was probably better than the new versions. After watching the original I came to appreciate the new versions more. I really can't say I hate any of the changes made in the SE. Jabbas new theme jumps out at me much more than the background music used in the original. Plus since I'm a fan of the NT I like the new Anikin and eyebrowless anikin. I guess they were right in saying the new ending theme music don't seem to fit as well, but I like that music more.

PT Bashing? What brought it back?

I've heard a few posters in the forum who claim they won't buy the legit OOT and continue bootlegging so it's good to hear someone will actually pay to see Star wars still. I'd like to think star wars fans aint gonna all be cheap asses like people who refuse to buy music cd's and will only download bootlegs.
