Spock's Funeral Remastered (Tribute - on youtube)
Time

I wanted to make a tribute to two amazing artists that left us this year, Leonard Nimoy and James Horner. So to do this, i decided to remaster Spock’s Funeral, which is (in my opinion) an spectacular scene. This scene was chosen because it has an stellar version of Amazing Grace (provided by James Horner), and because the scene says so much about saying goodbye.

Here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXDPGLyU0gY

I didn’t wanted to do nothing crazy with the scene, i just wanted a more modern look but without changing the original concept. What i did however was some sound editing, i added a higher quality version of the soundtrack and i also changed the sound effects to higher quality ones.

Hope you all enjoy!

Help: Looking for... good 1997 SE preservations
Time

I’m looking for some good 1997 preservations of the star wars trilogy.

I’ve been looking, but i didn’t find any (there are two on myspleen, but one has no seeders, and the other one is very poorly seeded).

Any tips were to find any good preservations?

NOTE:                                                                                                 I’m looking for the original preservation, like… extracted from LPs, VHS or whatever (except bootleg).                                                                 Also, please, i’m looking for one big download, the whole trilogy on one download, if that is not possible, then… you know… tell me were to download the movies separately…

Thanks in advance 😃

Help: looking for Prequel Theatrical Versions

It's not terrible. That exact release (Centropy) is actually how I first saw that film, hah.

The color is pretty bad, very blue. But the camera is on a tripod so the image doesn't shake around, and the audio is recorded directly via a line in rather than microphone in the theater.

While this site's DoubleOFive has a pretty comprehensive list of every change, no matter how significant to the OT, a great site with nice visuals and descriptions covering the biggest changes can be found here:

http://www.dvdactive.com/editorial/articles/star-wars-the-changes-part-four.html

It's a very good list. Missing a few things, though, including two of the Episode III changes I listed.

In this case, i'll check it out...

Thanks everybody, for all the help and directions :)
