I think it says a lot that Revisited appeals not only to the older crowd that originally saw the trilogy in theatres in the 70's but also to a whole new generation that may have only experienced the "special editions".

Q – You hand painted the SW:R DVD cover did you not? Whatever made you go into such project detail? And can we expect something like that for Empire: R?
A – I wanted something different for the cover. I didn’t want to use existing artwork so I decided to paint it myself. I will be doing the same for the whole saga.

Q – Fans have often asked if you will be adding your comments to Empire: R, any thoughts on that?
A – Yes, i have been asked a few times about doing an audio commentary for the DVD’s but it isn’t something i would really like to do.

He's a robot. He's not supposed to sound different every time he tries to express his feelings. If anything - there should be the same sound when he's happy, the same sound when he's sad and so on.
Although, when you imagine all the little problems this movie had - you realize that R2's sound effects are the least important.
The way he sounds has never bothered me and till this day I could not have imagined that it could.

You're thinking about creating a whole new back story, but one that actually makes sense? That would be sweet! The problem, though, is that it's impossible to spot all the plot holes by yourself - even if you wrote it - so you would have to show the script to as many people as possible. And you should probably start with writing an outline or something like that, like a rough draft with little to no dialogue - and see what other people think about it. Writing a script - that alone will be very time consuming. I say, 1st you write it and don't even think about how you gonna draw it.

Just saw it and, man, I don't know. It works pretty good, but there are still too many Jar Jar "jokes", Anakin imbecilities and the whole midichlorian stuff annoys the hell out of me...
The movie now feels too rushed with just action sequences and lightsaber igniting all over the place. I didn't really understand what the whole story was about, although there wasn't much of a story to begin with. Qui-Gon now seems like the main character. Darth Maul, on the other hand, isn't even a background character anymore. XD The guy is in the movie for, like, 2 minutes.
Watching this I realized how much I hate Keira Knightley's voice... it's so slooooow and boooring...
I may go as far and say that I rather watch this edit than the original, but still - this doesn't feel like a Star Wars movie. I really appreciate the effort and this is one hell of an attempt at trying to fix this $hit, but there's just too much stupid stuff in this movie. I'm not sure if it's even possible to fix it.
One thing that I missed though was the scene where Obi and Qui Gon are approaching (swimming towards) The Gungan City. John Williams' music in that scene is just incredible. It's so mysterious and stuff, I love it! It made the whole scene for me.
Other than that, I have to say - great job, man! The source material sucks ass but you really tried and for that - KUDOS to you! XD
That would make TPM approx 50min long... and I LIKE IT!

Listen! That clip - WAS AWESOME! But I have one question - is it somehow possible to remove Obi igniting his lightsaber and saying "Oh... it's you!" ? I have a little problem with that line because it doesn't make any sense that Obi wouldn't be able to sense Anakin. In Ep 4 he sensed and found Anakin on Deathstar (an enormous space-ship), so he should be able to sense him when he's only 2 feet away.
But other than that - great job, man! A really tight and fun scene!
