But those voices are pretty similar, so I think it would be possible to use at least couple of words and incorporate them in sentences where needed (so that no one could tell the difference).

Moments such as these, whilst not being big problems in themselves regarding the story, do have quite a detrimental effect on the movie; they just pull you out of the experience for nothing more than a worthless gag that I doubt even my 2 year old nephew would find funny. I'm sure you would agree.
Wasn't a big deal for me, but I'm happy to hear it's gone.
I guess, in the end, it's all about the little things.

Thought i'd register as I've been following this for a quite a while now and have enjoyed a lot of the work and discussion going on.
I cant remember if this has been covered but my mind needs put to rest after watching Spence's edit of ROTS. Just after the ship breaks in half when Anakin is trying to land, R2 lets out a sequence of beeps that sound like he's saying "uh oh". They may as well have had a drum riff straight after it to accentuate the punchline. It nearly made me sick.
Please say you have removed this!

One thing I noticed - Dooku has red clothing in EP II and EP III. And in those episodes he's a SITH, so in EP I - when he's still a JEDI - he should have the same clothes but blue (or green) instead of red. What do you think?

Right before Anakin says "you underestimate my power", there's a wide shot of him standing on the floating platform. If you reverse the sequence of these 2 shots, in the wide shot you can then add an ignition of his blue saber in his left hand - so he'll have a saber in each hand. He'll make the jump with both sabers and will drop both when Obi Wan cuts him down. When Obi Wan picks up the blue saber, you can even rotoscope in the red saber sitting nearby. (Maybe that can be a symbol of Obi Wan clinging to the good side of Anakin while rejecting the bad).
This is an interesting idea.
However, I don't really understand what this whole fuss is about. Sidious gives Anakin a new lightsaber and then, after ROTS, Obi somehow gets his hands on Anakin's old one.

The way I see it -
All of a sudden, that thing opens and your fanboy-alert goes off. You're thinking, "Whoah! What the hell is that? Is that what I think it is?!"
You suspect it's the red lightsaber, but you're not 100% sure.
And then later - when Anakin ignites his saber and it glows red - your inner fanboy wakes up for real and you enjoy the rest of the movie with a dumb grin on your face. XD

Obviously, it's too time consuming to watch all them, so it would be easier to just go to Sam's IMDB profile and click on his character names and check out the "Quotes" section.

The acting in this scene is very unconvincing, so I think you should remove as much as possible. May I suggest you remove everything starting from "Then our worst fears have been realized" till "If what you told me is true..."
(from 0:40 till 0:51 in this video)
So, basically, the dialog would go like this -
Anakin:"... He knows the ways of the force. He's been trained to use The Dark Side."
Mace:"Then our worst fears have been realized... If what you told me is true, you have gained my trust..."

Update on the opera scene. Made some small changes based of feedback. Went alittle different route on the Darth Plagueis line, but I think in this version that line runs alot smoother.

Ok, here are my thoughts -
- remove Anakin answering "No" and then Palpatine saying "I thought not". If Anakin doesn't say anything, we can only guess that maybe he has read or heard something about that legend and that he is keen to know more about it.
- remove Anakin's "He could actually... save people from death?" and also Palpatine's "Darkside is a path to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural." It is unnecessary for Anakin to ask this, because Palpatine already said it and then later he mentions it again, "How ironic... he could save others from death...". 3 times is just too much and a bit stupid.
And also, the thing is, Hayden is a good actor. George just wrote an awful dialog for him. Take a look at this scene, for example, Hayden's acting is good - you can see that there are some dark thoughts running through Anakin's head, but that whole imagine gets destroyed when he asks those stupid questions. If you remove couple of Anakin's lines, then he becomes more dark, mysterious and interesting.
The dialog then would look something like this -
P: "You ever hear a tragedy of Darth P. The Wise?... It's a sith legend. Darth P. had such a knowlage of the Dark Side he could even keep the ones he cared about... from dying."
A: "What happened to him?" (definitely keep this line)*
P: "He became so powerful..."
And then the rest of the scene plays out just like you edited.
*A cool thing about Anakin's, "What happened to him?", is that it's the 1st line Anakin says and it shows us that he can't sit there quiet anymore and that he's very interested in learning this power, but, at the same time, he is concerned about consequences.
English isn't my 1st language - I'm sorry for spelling mistakes. These were just my 2 cents. I hope this helps.

Dooku vs. Yoda duel was just horrible.
When I 1st saw it - Iwas very impressed, because it kind of looked impressive, but the 2nd time I saw it - it felt weird, like it should not be there. And now it just looks plain lame and unrealistic. PLUS - it's basically just George Lucas showing off what he can do with CGI.
And while it's all cool and everything - it's unnecessary. And what's unnecessary - deserves to be removed.
But that's just my opinion.

Yes, the dialog makes me wanna breakdance on a broken glass, but this scene now looks so cool that I couldn't care less about it.
Although BarBarJinkx's idea sounds interesting. If you had Obi-Wan's "Try not to upset him" before General Grievous' "Jedi Scum" - it might actually sound better. Then GeeGee would have a good reason to call them like that.
OR! You could just cut that whole dialog out. Like, for example, here @0:20 (after that droid gives GeeGee Obi's and Anakin's lightsabres) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag5ItWDN0Ko - you could just cut away to R2-D2 @0:42.
Just an idea.
EDIT: Dude, I just messed around a little but and in IMHO - it looks very good that way! That droid gives GeeGee their lightsabres and then (if we cut that whole BS dialog out) he says "Your lightsabres will make a fine addition to my... collection!".
I don't know, I think it plays pretty cool that way. We loose only 22 seconds and it's not like that dialog is very importaint.
What do you guys think?
