Goddammit Frink.
You mean THIS!?
Sure the film has flaws, but that doesn't stop it from being one of my favourite films.
Plus Nicol Williamson is really great as Merlin.
...
And Helen Mirren in this film switched on a lot of... feelings... in this young man, before I saw Miss Kate Winslet in Titanic and then Caligula (where things really kicked into high gear)

Ah, Excalibur ... a trilogy's worth of storyline crammed into a single average-length movie.
Let's just say I have mixed feelings on that rather interesting film.
*slowly and quietly shuffles into the room*
(Whispering) I actually really really like Excalibur.
*runs away*

He doesn't work all that well for me, either. But it's the visuals of Burton's movies that I'm fond of, not the characterization/storytelling.
Damn right. I love the Gothic/Art Deco look of Gotham. You really get a sense that Gotham is it's own city, not just a Chicago/New York clone. I wish that there was a version of Metropolis that looked like it's own city as well, obviously not gritty, gothic, deco-y like Gotham but bright and shiny.

That film can never be unseen
I really need to see this movie someday.
It's great. A very... unique... experience...

Superman Returns in my book is a much better film than Man Of Steel and not that bad at all.
At least the costume was proper. Undies on the outside or GTFO.
I didn't like the collors.
They were certainly more vibrant than the suit in Meh of Steel.
What's with them making Superman so grey?
A Superman film is supposed to be bright and vibrant, the colours practically dripping off the screen. Not boring bland bleakness. Bleagh.

Okay, I never heard good things about Daredevil, but how was he in Hollywoodland, playing George Reeves?
I thought he was actually pretty good in that movie. I don't think that Batfleck will be able to save the mess that Superman/Batman is going to be.
Darth Vader is Luke's sister??? I like it!

I had reasons!! I wanted to know whether a tin of alphabetti spaghetti would fit in there...
A full tin?....or an empty one?

Randomly?...or in Alphabetical order?
Either. It doesn't really matter which order, they'd get pissed out at some point anyways.

WHAT!?!?!?!
There was a second Star Wars movie! I had no idea! I've got to see if I can find this somewhere!
I remember watching that ages ago. From what I remember it had something to do with a crystal and mind splinters in eyes didn't it? Or am I remembering it wrong?

oh DuracellEngergizer, will you ever understand that no one cares about your bizarro joke?
If only I cared that nobody cares. Thankfully, absurdism helps me cope.
But wait a sec... If it's a Bizarro joke, that means everyone does care about it!!
I like the idea of Palpatine watching ROTS, or another thing. It could imply that the reasons he can forsee the future is because he's watched all of the films.
Anakin could walk in just as the Lucasfilm logo comes up, and the title and crawl play as they're having their conversation.

All the bad guys and random objects shooting first is a brilliant idea.
Sort of like this.

During the lightsaber fight between Obi and Annie in EP3, "Staying alive" by the bee gees plays over it. The lightsaber hits will be retimed to correspond with the beats in the music.
I've been recently playing Prince of Persia, FlashBack: The Quest for Identity and Another World. I've been loving them, though Another World is damn hard sometimes.
I've noticed there's a distinct lack of Cinematic 2D Platformers, so I think I'll try and make one.

How about having Vader speaking entirely in beeps? Like Captain Pike?
Complete with flashing light on his chest panel?
I actually did a mock up a while ago where Vader had a flashing light on his nose.
EDIT:
Found it!!

Vader's lightsaber should be changed to orange, to show that he's not a Sith, but a Rogue Jedi. Luke's lightsaber should be changed for continuity with people changing Anakin's Saber in ROTS to red.
Oh, And Darth Vader should only speak in one beep for Yes, two beeps for No.
How about having Vader speaking entirely in beeps? Like Captain Pike?
TMP is pretty much the perfect "background movie" for me. It's great to have on in the background whilst you're doing something else, but it's rather tedious to watch on it's own
I was Ditto-ing the whole comment, more specifically the "great music never turned a bad movie into a good one. Ever." bit.
Considering this is meant to be a "realistic" take on Superman... how come he can fly? How come he can shoot lasers out of his eyes? Why does he wear something as impractical as a cape? How come he has X-ray vision?
You want a "realistic" version of Superman then he should only be able to leap tall buildings in a single bond, and be super strong.
Don't get me wrong, I really really love Superman, he's my absolute favourite Superhero, but with Snyder, Goyer and Nolan trying to portray the character realistically it just brings those other things to the forefront.
I also hate his costume, it's so bland and muted. Totally unlike what Superman's costume should be.

I have not been and I think I am going to give it a miss... Could anyone who has seen it imagine it being superior with John Williams music?
Or is it just that bad and even music won't save it?
I love music more than anything in life, but great music never turned a bad movie into a good one. Ever.
Ditto
Ditto for me too
