Forget the ethics of eating sentient-shaped confectionaries, I'd much rather discuss the politics of dancing.

DID SOMEONE SAY DANCING??!!!

Woke up this morning only to find that there's no milk in the house. The only thing I had in my cupboard that I could put on my cereal was a bottle of whiskey. It's a good thing I don't need to be in uni today.

:D

I would've gladly given you several milk cartons in exchange for some of that sweet sweet booze. I've been sober for much too long and I need it baaaadly.

:(

one of the joys of being a student is never having food, but always having alcohol somewhere around the house.

I finally finished a 2500 word essay for University about Film Preservation. I'm pretty chuffed with it.

:D

Somehow I managed to combine information about Soviet Russia, Ian Fleming and George Lucas's 'special editions' and have it make sense.

Some of my fellow students haven't even written it yet, and it's due in on Thursday!

Video Games - a general discussion thread

I would say its because no one knows what it was about, but then a game would educate us about it! Seriously though, wasn't it mostly trench warfare? Could that be fun?

Most Developers and gamers assume that WWI = only muddy and unmoving western front.

First Person Shooters in a WWI setting wouldn't probably prove popular, due to the somewhat stagnant idea people have of The Great War, However, there still is room for things like Splinter cell/Hitman-esque Stealth based Games.

But it would be ideal to enlighten people about the first world war. What seems to be astonishing is that people seem to know a great deal about the second world war without ever realising that there was a WW1.

Why don't you just jump up in front of the screen and waggle your arms saying 'No Snakes here! No snakes here! wwaaaaaaaa wooooooooo la la la!!!!"

That'll stop her worrying about the snakes on TV

But, won't she still see a snake?

...Oh wait - Do you wear clothes while doing this?

Clothing is optional, but I doubt she's scared of... those kind of snakes....

Then he should have called himself Red Kola which is also very Scottish and also made by Barrs.

...or perhaps even Buckfast...our 'other' national drink! ;)

Highlands of Scotland...

Aye but it's brewed by Benedictine monks in Devon.

Yeah. Brewed in their digestive system!
