What. The. Fuck.
Ha! That was pretty much the reaction me and my entire film class had to the film.
It's weird.

The one thing I didn't love about it was there was no way the audience could work out the specifics.
That's kind of a given with Holmes stories though, isn't it?
I deduced the basic gist of what was going on in about six minutes but the specifics were in universe and therefore beyond anyone but the author's reach.
With the original story it was possible (but unlikely because of the red herrings) to figure out every element of the conclusion of the story which is much more rewarding.
You get that "oh of course" feeling.
I spent the last quarter of the story trying to work out the acronym when I couldn't have possibly have worked it out.
Fair Enough.
Anthea Crispy's worst stories have the same cheat to them.
True. True
Russell Tovey should also be discouraged from making that horrible squealing noise.
It was kind of fun for two or three episodes of Being Human but now I just want to punch him so hard his ancestors will die.
Oh Gosh, tell me about it! He is unbelievably annoying. I was really hoping his character would die during one scene.

Finally saw Super 8 (or Video 8 as the other half keeps calling it) and I loved it but he didn't. Four reels from me.
Why does he call it Video 8?
Watched the latest two episodes of Sherlock.
Great fun and beautifully shot.
The dynamic between Holmes and Watson is great, as always.
Preferred the latest episode 'The Hounds of Baskerville', though that's probably because the book it's based on is my favourite Holmes Novel.
I love that the trailer has the weeeeeeooooo noise from the original trailer.
Pretty neat.

The font doesn't look exactly the same though but it's near enough.
What's wrong with minecraft?
Somehow re-edit Anakin's turn to the dark side to something really mundane.

So the Old Testament is the UOT, the New Testament is the Special Edition, Lucas is the Messiah, and the Prequels are the Book of Mormon?
That musical by the south park guys?
;)
During the lightsaber fight between Obi and Annie in EP3, "Staying alive" by the bee gees plays over it. The lightsaber hits will be retimed to correspond with the beats in the music.
I'd love to check out all three of these
Could somebody please PM them to me?
Thanks.
