2001 was a KUBRICK FAIL
2001 was a KUBRICK FAIL

I prefer the previous idea of all the minor characters taking center stage.
Oh yeah! I drew that one didn't I!
Anyway, here's another attempt at QG not getting that the ship has been destroyed:
That was much better. Thumbs up
2001 was ok, but pluto nash was better....
(Waits for Ziggy to realise I'm trolling)

She laughed all the way through, and stated that it was a lot better than she thought it would be, although Clockwork Orange is still her favorite Kubrick Film.
I agree with your mum, Clockwork Orange is my fave Kubrick film too, but Strangelove comes at a close second.

I liked Cloverfield too.
*shrug*

Surely, someone else has to be interested in this?
We are interested, and don't call me shirley
How about this for a movie poster??

No, no, no. He's saying that a Alec Guiness once made a young Star Wars fan cry.
Young Alec Guinness said:
I make/will make children cry. But that's ok because I played/will play Obi-wan kenobi. Now what was that George said/will say about...pre-quels???
Sounds like a ridiculous idea to me

Also the GC looks great.
Indeed, the Generated Computer did look great

Penguiniform the gentleman in your avatar famously provoked a similar response in a young Star Wars fan so you are in good company.

You mean me????
Young Alec Guinness provoked a similar response to what...??

You had no legit reason to ban people from commenting on your video, you were just being an annoying bitch. Grow up kid."Mielr - just to clarify, you're female right?
She may be, but I doubt she is a canine...

This is true. I did kinda do this on the train home. My ringtone used to be Mark Hamil's line 'It's lucky you don't taste very good' (I had it because of a joke some friends and I made when talking about SEs.) Then two young kids (Not little kids, they were 12-13) came up to me recognizing Hamil's voice and asked me where it was from. When I told them it was from empire they laughed, telling me I was an idiot because that line wasn't in empire because they knew every line or something. They talked about 'Lucas' Vision' and the prequels being amazing because of Yoda's Light-sabre fights.
I then (kinda angrily, I don't like being called an idiot, certainly not by ignorant prequelite children) 'told' them that I was a film student (which I am), about the O-OT, problems with SE and the stupidity of the prequels .etc. Long story short, I made one of them cry and they ran off.
(I don't mean to sound like a horrible ass-hole on the train that picks fights with kids, but the two children were so unpleasant and their views so 'warped' that I felt an obligation to 'correct' them.)
(Sorry if I sound like a complete asshole)
Bookmarked for future use in sig. ;-)
Damn straight!
Wow! It Ki-adi Mundi!!!!! So that was what he was doing before the prequels!!!!
I saw what you typed walkingdork, there's no use hiding it.

I was hoping to see some redone X-Wings in the PT. As someone else pointed out, the rebels in the OT were using old technology (X-Wings) so it would have been cool to see some X-Wings with that new car shine.
That and Y-wings. Heck, Y-wings should have been the precursor to X-wings.
I say yes as well. Kill 'em.

Face Stuffing Time means....(no not going there).
I don't know what you're talking about
Ask them if people in the star wars universe wear glasses. If they say no ask them why not.
Actually...
So what will be what???? What will be called a day and what will be called 'face stuffing time'????
I'm so confused

What about elevenses? Luncheon? Afternoon tea? Dinner? Supper? He knows about them, doesn't he?
That doesn't make any sense.
Breakfast is usually the first meal of the day which is traditionally taken in the early morning. It is part of the traditional common meal series and can serve as a time of day, i.e. breakfast time.
It literally means "breaking the fast" of the night, as it is the first meal after sleeping. So to have breakfast in the evening...
Oh. I see what you did there...
I heard the collars are fixed. Is it true?

I rather liked Cloverfield.
It's not my favorite movie in the world and the big daylight monster reveal buggered up everything leading up to it but it has some fine moments.
It's a film that needs to be watched on a small screen rather than a big screen. I hated it when I saw it in the cinema, and it nearly made the girl I was seeing it with sick. But I've changed my mind about it seeing it on a TV, it seemed to work better in that format.
The shaky-cam work will date it in feature decades, should we survive the massive increase in solar flare activity.
or skynet. ;)
AND a modern remake of Tie-Fighter as well
Yeah, you say that.
Just wait for the prequel trilogy, detailing how all the toys came together.
With excessive real life effects, terrible Voice-over work and annoying characters

It's hard to deny that the battle between capital ships at the beginning of ROTS is superb,
Oh, people will deny it. Somehow they will.
I'll do that. To me, it just looks like a video game intro. And I can't even play it, so it annoys me to watch. I love the ideas there: finally seeing big capital ships bombing the fool out of each other high-seas style, but the CG takes me right out. If it was done with actual models that look realistic... blahblahblah you've all heard it before. The Ideas are great, the execution is weak.
I do agree though that Jedi needs some big ship action as seen in Sith, I just don't want it to feel like the intro to a new SW video game.
THIS.
