I only just now noticed that in georgec's sig, he has the same link to my threads that I do.
Consider me creeped out.
I've been waiting for someone to notice that. I must have added that to my sig at least 6 or 7 weeks ago.
Are you not entertained?

Want to talk about POS inconsiderate roommates?
Mine never cleans up after himself after using the kitchen. Leaves crumbs everywhere, puts trash in recycling, leaves junk everywhere. Puts effort into not making an effort to be clean.
How hard is it for people to understand basic considerate behavior?
Fuck roommates. Fuck inconsiderate people, which means fuck all people.

^I think this is a very good thing. And re: prequel merit - I personally believe the prequels do have merit, and could argue as to why, though I don't think there's much a point to that. The fact of the matter is, though, these films are NOT going to just ignore the prequels. It just won't happen.
I was being facetious/sarcastic, but I do stand by the opinion that the new movies need to be their own thing.
The ultimate downfall of the prequels is that they were completely subservient to the OT.
While the new movies will pick up threads from either or both sagas, it's important to not constrict them to trying to explain or connect every little detail to the OT like the PT did.
That's why I cringe a little when I read comments on the net with people saying, "Do this character! Do that story!" Recipe for disaster, in my opinion. Let the new movies breathe.
I agree with Adywan.

Apparently the Toy Story 3 writer has penned a 50-page treatment.

I'm wary of someone being described as a fan of the series. Anybody who likes the prequels or sees merit in them shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the new movies.

Ooooh that's interesting timing. I wonder if her appearance was scheduled before or after the announcement? I thought I read somewhere Carrie has a new book or something on the way - maybe that's why?
Either way I'll be excited to see what she has to say. Heaven knows her, um, appearance and health will be under the scrutiny of millions of judgmental fanboys.

I'm aware of how to blow a snot rocket. I just didn't realize people do it the way you describe - indoors, with no regard for where it goes.
I send snot rockets into the sink then I wash them bitches down. But what you're conveying sounds like someone sitting on the couch then shooting one onto the sofa pillow or something.
You should totally rub your anus on his pillow.

I can't stand people who just snotrocket all over the place, because, invariably, I end up cleaning that shit up.
Use a damn tissue.
People do this? As in, blow their nasal mucus onto their surroundings without inhibition?
Sounds disgusting.

But in any situation like this, regardless of the person, I tend to wait and see.

LOL I laugh at that every time. I love how he says these movies will never make it into theaters. Nothing builds interest like secrecy.

Just sayin'.
It did back then when it was written but we also have reports of Carrie and Mark being called to 'the presence' so I imagine that treatment has been adapted to their current age.
Which if you think about makes much more sense than recasting which would be the most stupid thing to happen to Star Wars since Boba Fett's sky-swim.
You forgot to add, "Just sayin'"! Noooooooooooooo, chain broken.
I agree with you and was obviously jesting, but yes it all depends on what the story is. Luke in his 50s? Hamill. Luke in his 30s or early 40s? Probably not Hamill.
But I'm curious why George called Carrie and Mark but not Harrison. Can't remember if he was unavailable or something, which is what I guess. I can see this going one of two ways:
a) Pick up the story with Luke/Leia as primary characters in their late 30s or early 40s. Forgot how old Han would be at that point...
b) Pick up the story with Luke/Leia as secondary characters in their 50s.
Either way I just want to see Billy Dee Williams!
