Bill Clinton was a clown and he made it in, LOL.

Bill Clinton at least had experience in running a state as governor before he became president. Our new president questioned wether or not Obama was even born in the US.

On the other hand, being on a reality show doesn’t automatically mean Trump was unqualified to run for office- it’s the lack of any political experience that should’ve disqualified him.

Not the outrage about Trump specifically, but the general faux outrage about non-issues like memes and Ghostbusters.

Wether or not Russia hacked the election, they are still a very dangerous country. I for one do not want to see the Baltic countries lose their independence yet again because Trump goes soft on NATO. Any president has only eight years to run the country, while Putin can just change the rules to stay in power, until he dies of old age twenty years from now. Who knows what despot will take over Russia after that?

I don’t know. The prequels put a really huge dent in the Star Wars franchise. If they were never made, and Disney still continued the franchise with TFA, things would’ve been more forgivable. The fact that Gareth is quoted as saying that John Knoll said that there was a brand new 4k restoration print of A New Hope, gives me some optimism…if ‘restoration’ is used in the correct sense by either Gareth or John - as far as I know, there are plenty of 4k upscales of previous 2k movies…and it could easily prove to be the case that they have just done this with the SE too. Hopefully, the usage of the word ‘restoration’ means just that, as it would point to the original movie that’s been ‘restored’.

No, it’s definitely going to be some sloppily executed upscale. That would be consistent with Lucasfilm’s policy of cutting corners twice at every possible step. According to them the Lowry master is better than perfect, so why should we fix it for the fans?

I’m sure there are some people who see Jedi as their favorite SW movie, even though it’s objectively the weakest in the OT.

Has anyone noticed that the only good Star Wars films were released during the Carter administration?

Lucasfilm is run by Kathleen Kennedy, who is a producer for Spielberg, who as we all know is close to Lucas. It’s not in their interest at all to give us the original versions at all.

And I’m as guilty as anyone, but this is why we just need to ignore him unless he’s saying something rational.

Which happens less often than a perfect alignment of the planets.

Kurtz is still the only reason SW was ever great to begin with.

It’s almost 2017 and we still have no legal version of the real OT. There are people who are going to turn 20 who have lived in a world where only the SE has ever existed. The prequels are being more and more accepted each passing year, despite being literally some of the worst films ever made.

This should disturb any rational, clear thinking person.
