The first scene with the Inquisitor and Vader needs a better transition. The close up shot of the inquisitor builds up to his eyes being revealed, but because of the very sudden fade out that reveal does not have enough room to breath. I would either give they āeye revealā a bit more time to sink in or just show him from the back, not cutting to the close up of the face at all. (which would make the last scene the first time we see his face, which would be kinda neat)
Iāve played with this transition a lot. I found when we jump from the back of the inquisitor to Ezra it feels a bit jarring and the building music doesnāt have a chance to resolve.
I donāt think itās perfect but the transition is the length of the original show and the same (just to a different scene).
I might play around with it some more but from what Ive experimented with I think Iāve already got the best transition (without having to rescore anything).
The scene with Ezra returning the lightsaber and joining the crew also needs a bit more room to breath before it cuts away.
Iād love to get some suggestions for this as I donāt think Iāve cut anything around this part so Iām not sure what I could use to extend this moment. I do agree though!
Last small thing: around 12:00 there is an establishing shot of the full city that goes by way too fast. I would either take that out or prolong it.
Iāll check that out and see what I can do. š
All in all, a very good job, the rest flowed wonderfully. š
Thanks for all your input! Itās much appreciated! š
