Sorry to resurrect this thread, but what music documentary have you sourced from? The official released soundtrack is a joke. I'm looking for a particular piece of music from the Extended Edition which occurs when Bilbo is speaking to Elrond about the Dwarves not wanting him on the journey (which then extends into the bit with the Dwarves messing around nude in the water). It doesn't appear to be anywhere!
I'm aware there's an alternate (significantly different) version of it on the track 'The White Council' but that's not what i'm after unfortunately. I wonder how long it'll take to release a 'Complete Recordings' set for these movies.....
This one:

That is a actually the film version of "Axe Or Sword" for Gandalf talking to Bilbo about his ancestor Bullroarer Took
Yeah, the demo.
If you end up needing help ripping it (as if ;) ) I'll be happy to tell you how I did it.
Just a note, the Lego Hobbit game has isolated sfx and voiceovers AND dialogue in the audio files for the game, they may be useful.
Yakety Sax only really works for either filler action scenes or mindless CGI infested action scenes
Another variation of the Fox Fanfare to add to the collection?

Perhaps Padme's funeral could be scored with a cheesy organ piece?

Bill Conti, he also did that Masters of the Universe film and that trilogy about that Kid who did Karate.
Here is mine, its not that good:
Luke: He told me! I said you killed:
Darth not-chop: No, I am your father am.
Does anyone have some of the fonts mentioned here? Baucher, Univers and such?

Huge presumption.
Good point.
I apologize if I sounded rude.

I find Sauron's design over-the-top trying to be scary. What with the spikes all over his uniform, and the over-the-top death.
Well, alot of that comes from Alan Lee and John Howe's illustrations:
Tolkien's illustration of Sauron:
Howe's illustration of Morgoth (Sauron's Master):
Or, you could compress them (without losing quality of course), so that all the sounds could fit in snugly into the 15 GBs with more to spare...
FLAC = more space
WAV = less

15GBs...I have more than that in Star Wars sounds on my own already.
Well there (most likely) is the problem, WAV's are larger than FLAC files. (being that they are uncompressed.)

Are they WAVs or FLAC's?

(just the amazing combination of music and visuals makes for a far better scene - one of my favourite scenes in entire trilogy btw).
Which was sadly tracked with the concert version!

Compared to Lord of the Rings the tone doesn't match.
Thats because the tone has not got there yet.
The second one gets us closer.
On the topic of where to post videos other than Vimeo/Facebook/Youtube.
I daresay that Google drive works well, though I don't know if it would work with the Forum software, or if there is still the chance of the video's being reported, and there is a GB limit..
Perhaps it made it so you have to enable it using Youtube?

More flying saucer aliens not less and loads of Theremin.
The recording sessions of the score have an alternate take of the cue when Indy is being "hypnotized" by the skull, which uses a very theramin-esque instrument.

the pictures are fake, but the article is real apparently.
