So that's why it's not yelling at me anymore! Thanks, Jay. Much appreciated! The PM limit and the avatar issue were the only things that really ever bugged me about the forums, anyway. So half of my beefs are taken care of! Haha.

I still can't get my avatar uploaded. It's the required 50x50 and is 3.75 kb, so I am thrown for a loop.

Good for ESB at least to still reign supreme, but only 8.5% for Star Wars? I can only hope that that's because everyone who voted for ESB held Star Wars as a very close second but couldn't vote for both. But ROTJ higher than Star Wars? That's just weird. I'm more surprised by that than I am by ROTS having second place, honestly, as much as I disagree with that standing.

I would suspect you're right man, I would've given ANH my next vote, but I had to go with ESB.

The rest is divvied up by those dumb-ass kids...

I concur with both of you. I also would have to go ESB over ANH, but only by a teeny tiny hair, barely indistinguishable. But ESB was directed superbly by Irvin Kershner, I'm serious, Lucas would have done well to let Mr. Kershner direct every subsequent Star Wars film thereafter, but I will digress as this is not relevant to the thread.

That would be a De Tomaso Mangusta, probably a 1968 model.

Ah, thanks. An Italian car? I must love Italian cars. Is it a rather well known car or do you just know a lot about cars ferris?

I've been going to car shows ever since I could crawl. I know quite a bit about them. Those Mangusta's are rare and are seeing a resurgence in popularity the last few years.

Just got back and I too thought it was confusing and way too long. I loved COTBP, but I didn't care for the DMC and now I don't like AWE either. I agree with theredbaron, they had good luck with the first and then came along and tried too hard on the next two. I guess I'm in the minority of this, but I looked at my clock at least seven times wondering when it would end.

Also, yes Sean, Keira Knightly + 20 lbs, she would be hot. When are these Hollywood chicks gonna get out of this skin & bones phase?

I'd kill to have a Barnes and Nobel in my town and I've been to the local used bookstore once.

$20 says he hasn't even tried the right marketing with these things, I bet he would sell a crap ton if he took out an Ebay book store. Just because he has aall the book sitting in a wherehouse in Missouri that he can't sell, doesn't mean there is not SOMEBODY out there that isn't looking for the book. Put them on the net and open them up to the world.

For Sale: ESB Collectors Edition Original Script: Make Me An Offer

All I've got (besides the script) is the films and a Force FX Luke Skywalker lightsaber, and that's all that I want from a collection standpoint.

So I would like to sell this script. Is it worth something to you? Let me know. I would prefer to sell it here rather than on EBay.

IM me and let me know what you would accept, or expect, for the lot.

He discussed it with GL and was told, "You don't have to please everyone in the world, you only have to please one person - me."

Mission accomplished!

Yeah, I thought the same thing.

Man, if I wasn't such a broke ass blue collar I'd go straight to LA for this, it'd be great. Not only am I broke, but I'm terrified of flying, so it'd take me a couple days driving to get there plus with $3 a gallon gas, I'd be even more broke when I got there.

Oh yeah - back when cars had style. Long before they all morphed into the "everypod" that they've become. I understand the need for aerodynamics, drag coefficients, fuel economy, etc - but along with those things, the car companies also moved into an area where they tried to make the cars appeal to as many buyers as possible. They did that by taking away any strong lines or styling cues. We're left with nothing but Accords, Fusions, and Impalas. There's been a slight - slight - move away from that in recent years, but really only with the higher end cars.

I kinda dig the new Chrysler 300s. They have a sort of comic book feel to them. Thick body with a throwback to the 50s chopped roof look. Something a cop would get out of and yell up to a building - "come out with your hands up, Lefty, we've got you surrounded".

*sorry, back to dream vehicles*

I'll work up a list soon.

*Brushes tear from eye* I couldn't have said that better myself.

As a matter of fact, I am a Cadillac fanatic, I own a black 1958 Coupe.

As far as the modern concepts, I'm not crazy about them at all. They are too sporty to me, they try to imitate Corvettes almost, I like big luxury cars. I wished Cadillac would do some retro cars and bring some of their best designs from the 50's to now, that would be great.

I've seen a HD-DVD/Blu-ray/DVD a.k.a 3-in-1 player once. I think it was called BH100. I have yet to see a Blu-ray/HD-DVD only player though.

Yeah, the problem with the LG BH100 is that you cannot play all of the extra content and the interactive feature on HD-DVD discs (known as HDi), only the movie portion of the HD-DVD is playable. However, Samsung as announced that they will release a combo player by Christmas, the BD-UP5000, which will be able to fully utilize all of the features on all formats, including Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.
