No they won't stop it, but I'm sure that Sony won't go down without a no holds barred full on attorney brawl. Much like the establishment is trying to stop pirating movies and music, they make it more difficult and expensive, but they never stop it.


That'll be interesting to see. "We'll sue you!" "Um, go ahead, our country doesn't follow your laws". Look how long it took to crack down on Cyberhome for not licensing the DVD spec. Of course now, the other cheap player is the Coby, which looks almost exactly like the old Cyberhome. Hmm.


Heh heh, good point, but at least it will make Sony rip their hair out, that'd be nice, yeah, really nice.

Between that and the thing she said about Nora on Firefly, your wife seems really cool.

As for what Cameron will look like, she has been scratched up a bit before, and her wounds seemed to heal. Maybe she has a special type of skin that can regenerate itself. I am sure they wont want to change the way she looks, I doubt she will take much damage at all. Probably just a few burns. Or they'll replace her with another actress . It would be kind of cool to see her exoskelton walking around for a bit, but that would get old fast and would be contrary to the "light on special effects" theme the show has had so far.


Damn, C3PX, you're memory astounds me. Truly, you ought to be an investigator with that kind of memory. I'm serious.

Heh, here's what I know about this subject. Summer Glau if HOT and damn SEXY for a skinny gal. This series got a rough start, but it is ticking along good now and I am enjoying it, I hope it goes in for the second full showing. Interesting idea about seeing Cameron naked!!!!!! er, uh, her exo-skeleton. *my wife hits me again right about....................now*

*sigh* I took a stroll down the toys aisle the other day in Wal-Mart, it is sad how ignorant and cheap most all of the current toys are. My kids are probably gonna be cheated out of the cool Star Wars playsets, awesome G.I. Joe stuff, and Transformers. Even though it was plastic back then, they built that stuff pretty solid, a lot of this crap I've seen recently looks like it won't take one slam against a wall.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Summer may be a little too far on the thin side, but damn she is hot. I find myself very attracted to her, maybe it could be she is a fellow Texan, we know how to build'em down here ya' know.

Anyhow, I dang sure hope this carries on to a second season. I agree with C3PX that a shape shifter would have made things much easier. Now, I am not in the business, but it seems that it would be cheaper to do CG effects than it would to have actors do anything. I mean, any nerd with a Mac can conjure up some shape shifting video. I could be wrong though.

Alright, I will first state that I believe FF constantly posts threads which always depict the military and law enforcement in a bad light. I don't know what his intention is, but it seems that he wants to portray all Soldiers and Police Officers as blood thirsty egotistic bullies and sadists. FF, why don't you find a video of a cop dragging a person out of a burning car or a soldier rescuing a civilian from a bomb, I think you slant your argument and leave out that stuff, repeatedly. That is just my humble opinion though.

That aside, if this video is found to be real, I will disagree with FF that David Mortari should be left over there forever. He should be pulled out immediately and dishonorably discharged. Mostly because if his conscience allows him to brutally kill a puppy (again note that we really don't have the whole story, this is based solely on what I see in the video), then he should not be allowed to serve with our brave young men and women who honorably fight for our freedom, without brutality.

But, we truly don't know the whole story. Being the victim of video myself, I can attest that just because you see it on video doesn't mean that's how it went down. Too many people walk away believing a simple grainy, compressed, 80 degree view of a scene to be 100% truth with no distortion. Sad.

I think that idea was just about ready for production, then the writers strike hit, and most of the actors didn't want to cross the picket line, which pretty much hit Heroes - Origins in the stomach. At least, that was the way I understood it.
