She's holding it together well, speaking objectively she's really running a high quality campaign. Democrats better hope to hell that she can find a way to win the nomination, because Obama no longer stands a chance in hell in a General Election. Anyone who thinks he does is either in blindly love with the guy, or really ignorant in terms of how a candidate gets elected in this country. When you say nutty condescending shit to average Americans whenever possible, you alienate people by the millions. That "cling to guns and religion" comment alone is enough cause to question the guys understanding of politics.

Well said, I agree totally.
Clinton seems so much more "real" to me now than she ever has. Admittedly, I am one of the worst Clinton bashers here, but now I feel a little more confident in her leadership abilities. While I will disagree with her ferociously on many subjects, at least she seems willing to listen to folks like me, more than I can say for Obama.

Unless I missed something, why isn’t there a equivalent charity group of Jedi and Rebel costumers? I’m about to put myself a Jedi costume together and I visited the 501st website, they do lots of cool stuff that I’d like to do when I do get my costume complete. Anyone else agree?

Yep, I like it though. Once Jay gets a few of the kinks worked out, this'll probably be the best forum software yet!

I'm not so certain the first officer on scene was a Police Officer. Public Service Officers are usually non-commissioned uniformed employees of cities who do not have arrest authority. Now, they can detain and call for a Police Officer if they believe a crime has occurred.
As for the main story, yeah, hopefully everybody learned whatever lesson they should have. Again, we do not truly know what the scene was like. However, with what I do know about it, I do not think I would have approached it with full on charges and an arrest. I would have scolded the lady. Even if she got an attitude, I'm fairly certain I could shut her down with reason and facts.
Look kids get kidnapped and/or die everyday. I don't care how far she away she was, several things could have happened to that baby including kidnapping, another car smashing into the van, the baby could have choked on something and died, or even just slip out of the seat and break it's neck. You cannot leave a child unattended at all, even to walk 15 ft, it is just not safe.
But I guess it's all a moot point now that charges have been dropped. Oh well.

Yeah, that would be sleeker than is currently presented.

When I was a kid I was constantly building my own playsets out of carboard, scissors, tape, and markers. I had a lot of fun with those too. I would also build an "explodable" bridge out of my families VHS tapes. I miss being a kid. I am suddenly feeling the urge to drop all my obligations and responsibilities, shrink three feet, move back into my parents house, and dig out the boxes of my old toys.

Well, I'm not defending what they did leading up to it, but I think they did kill the dog. AT the end you hear one of the say something to the effect of, "Hey you wanna kill it now?"
I also think we all should remember that these guys are at war. Again, I'm not defending them, but things that they see tend to numb the senses of right and wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if the day before they saw a fellow soldier crawling across the ground with no legs or arms. The dog is just a afterthought at that point I reckon. Anyone here served in a foreign war BTW,
