Sorry, have to draw the line somewhere.
Completely understandable and agreeable. Thanks!

It was in honor of someone who just passed away, that makes it alright, doesn't it? ;)
I do detect the sarcasm, but I do agree with the statement in, and of, itself. This lady left us with some great images of herself. Many of them are considered by many, to be fabulous works of art. The one I posted here is in that category, nothing was showing anymore than what a fine 15th century Italian statue, or oil painting, would show

Well, it was worth a try. Thought some boobies wouldn't hurt none, it was with the Christmas spirit! :)
Edit: Photo removed. No nudity, please.
One of the hottest, best women of all time. I will deeply miss her.

Ugh, these posts are TOO long!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
I love this Holiday myself, really focuses on nothing but family and eating. I love Christmas as well. I have tons of great memories from both Holidays when I was growing up.

Once again, this should be an SP.
Direct response to the article cited by lifehacker.com:

Major interface changes do not equal a service pack regardless of whether or not the same stuff is running the hood--and as the osnews.com article states, the original article's author is either clueless or purposely stirring shit.
If you're so upset about Microsoft's practices, why do you continue to support their products?
Who knows, I'll buy this when it comes out. I just think it ought to be an SP.

Back in the pre-internet ages, I was very surprised the first time I saw it (I'll never forget it, at a now defunct theater in Bellmead, TX). I was stunned at the time to find that Arnie was the good guy in T2. A feat which these days, with the net, could not happen. Great movie IMHO.
I don't think we are having near enough terminator vs. terminator battles. Cameron always seems to be somewhere else, or simply blows the others head off. Perhaps it is just me though. And maybe I've said this before, but I think Summer Glau is totally smokin', even though she is not typical of the type I like. I bet she'd be totally hot if she'd gain 20-30 lbs.
I love openoffice.org, but I understand the need for MS Office. You could try contacting Microsoft and explaining the siutation to them, they may help. You may need some proof of purchase, or they may request you mail them the torn peice before they replace the key, but they just might. You just never know until you try.
Yeah, I was hanging on, but this weeks episode "Villians" really sort of sealed the deal for me. It would take something pretty amazing to bring me back into the Heroes fold. It keeps jumping around like crazy, laxidasical storytelling at its best now. Now the blue flame guy and Claire's momma are siblings and Claire's momma caused the train accident which Claire saved that person from!!!! Elle falls for Sylar!! Getting really crazy now, starting to wonder if George Lucas is involved somehow?
I've seriously considered a Mac Mini several times, just decided to put the money elsewhere (duty gear, baby stuff, guitar stuff, etc.), I may take a jump IF they update the Mini within the year, but I have heard they plan on discontinuing it, I hope they don't cause that will probably be my first jump in. If they do, I will probably buy my wife a Macbook next year or so so she'll have her own, easy to use, computer. When she ain't using it I can play around with it and see just how much I'd like Mac.

Jay said:So buy a Mac. That was the solution I chose three years ago and I haven't looked back since :)
Thought about it, but Macs are so overpriced. I am considering a Psystar though since they are way more in line with my budget. Plus, the tranisition from everything I own being tailored to PC to Mac would seem daunting to me. How was your transition?

The assumption being that us wacky liberals simply don't get it, and once we're exposed to the nasty truth, our core beliefs will be shaken? Like you guys see something we don't.
I don't like arrogance, no matter what side it comes from.
Having to be exposed to the real world on a daily basis, I have experienced this to be the truth, sorry if it sounds arrogant. But I've seen many liberals change their minds on somethings once exposed to it for real and not just on the 5 o'clock news. There was woman I'd once met briefly, she was rabidly liberal and always insinuated that we (Police Officers) were violating peoples rights and being aggressive, even against the death penalty. A few years later her daughter was raped. I helped the investigation and got to know her well after that, a lot of her ideas changed once she realized the impact that criminals have on victims, she even apologized to me for having so much doubt. After some time she admitted that perhaps the death penalty is a just thing to do. Terrible what it took to wise her up. Just one example, of many.

If not free, then inexpensive, I just hope they don't ask $400 for an "Ultimate" edition or $200 for a "Home" version or crap like that. If Microsoft approached their OS upgrades like Apple, I wouldn't have a problem. Where each OS upgrade comes out about every 2-3 years and it is about $129 each time, or $200 for five licenses, and you get the WHOLE OS, not just a watered down one. Microsoft charges outrageous amounts of money for Vista, pretty much corners you into buying it, and then releases something much better which is little more than an improvement of what we got and they want to charge me again. That's my issue.
Well, I'll bet Prez Elect Obama has a change of heart on a few subjects today after he gets done with the National Intelligence Briefing, may even walk out a little less liberal.

Damn, that is a little ridiculous to me.
I hope they come to their sense with this release and release just ONE verision at a decent price. Say about $129, for Windows 7, I'd do that.
MeBeJedi said:LOL....no
The American system of government was based on a DISTRUST of government.......which would explain why the free press is protected from said government by the FIRST Amendment.
This distrust is also why a series of checks and balances were instituted into the government.....some of which the Bush administration has attempted to remove or outright circumvent.
But apparently, pointing out anti-constitutional actions of the president is seen as worse than the actual anti-constitution actions, themselves. Everyone close your eyes and let Bush do whatever he wants.....even if it puts the government into a recession.
So according to you Abraham Lincoln should also be written down in history as a war criminal, as well as FDR and even George Washington to an extent.
MeBeJedi said:^^^ I'm sure you guys will go out of your way to complain about Obama in some form or another, so the "whining" won't be going anywhere.......only the voices will change. ;)
Agreed! That is probably one of the most true statements you've ever made MeBeJedi! Except that even though I do not care for Obama and cannot stand his policies, I will honor and respect him as an Amercican President, just as any American should. Which is much more than the liberal left has done for Bush the last eight years.
