Yay! Now we don't have to kill ImperialFighter anymore.

Just make sure you don't kill the dude who is the model for the grey boxes.  It's not his fault he was cloned.

Well, he may die a natural death. He's rather pale and has no arms. I also don't think he has any mouth, eyes, or a nose. Rather sad case of disfigurement if you ask me.

Maybe there should just be some sort of really embarrassing avatar (instead of a generic avatar), used as the default. That way, people will change it as soon as possible, rather than putting it off too long.

Richard Simmons

You totally read my mind on Richard Simmons when I read Davnes post. He instantly hit my mind when I read "embarrassing avatar"!

The Things We Hate And Love Thread .

I hate that I spent over an hour filling out an online job application only to be told at the end of it that  "Your responses to our initial questions for this position indicate that your background and/or your experience do not meet the minimum requirements for this role".   It didn't specify what requirement(s)  were not meant, and not single human being looked at my application before it was turned down.    The description of the job itself did not mention any requirement(s) that I do not meet or exceed.

Welcome to a Liberal Democrat society.**

**I've been drinking a little bit, so please excuse my more than ordinary pissed offfedness at liberals for ruining our society.

First celebrity crushes

Yeah, I had to double check the thread to make sure I wasn't mistaken, I couldn't believe I was the first the bring her up. I am SOOO in love with the Catherine Back "Daisy Duke" version that it is ridiculous. She has made me absolutely shun (and get damn mad at) any other attempt the portray Daisy Duke. DAMN YOU JESSICA SIMPSON!!!!

Favicon?
Time

Howdy Jay,

Could we get a Favicon added to OT.com? Like many, I use Firefox and have a Bookmarks Toolbar, many sites have Favicons and I 'd love to see OT.com get one as well. Currently, alongside all my Favicons I have OT.com bookmarked with a blank page favicon and "OT" written out next to it, I'd love to get rid of the "OT" next to it. Here is a clip to give you the idea of what I'm looking at. I'm certain someone from our community could come up with a great one you could add to your sites coding. It isn't particularly a necessary item, but a nice thing to have. Thanks a million for all you do!!

Windows 7
Time

Well, I really don't regret my purchase of the Windows 7 Pro full edition, yeah some folks got it cheaper, but I just can't help but feel I'll get my use out of it. Windows 7 will most likely be the standard for a minimal of three years, if not longer. I can use the license I purchased for that whole time and behind. Plus, as service packs come out, I can slipstream the service packs into my copy and continue to re-use my license, far beyond when my current Dell E6400 has been replaced. Just my two cents.

Windows 7
Time

So far, running Win 7 Pro 64 here, I've had only one minor problem. Very miniscule, but a favorite free drive partition manager of mine is Easeus Partition Master, however their free version does not work on 64 bit systems. So, I found Partition Wizard, which is oddly WAY too much like Partition Master that it isn't even funny, so it's like I never changed. Other than that everything has been a dream, but, it did make it easier for me that I installed Win 7 64 on my Dell Laptop, Dell had already developed, or had the respective company develop, the necessary drivers and had them posted a full two weeks prior to the street launch of Win 7.

The Ric Olie Observation Thread
Time

You know, in all the years I've been surfing the net, I've never once been banned from a forum or restricted from commenting on any websites or blogs. Then in the last month, I got banned from the forum at ultrasoft.com and now I can't comment on consumerist.com stories anymore because I upset Ben Popken. Kind of sucks.

What's your observation on my predicament Ric Olie?
