howdy!
howdy!
I don't have anything against Macs except their outrageous pricing. You can get the equivalent of a Mac Pro for $1200 in a PC while Apple want $3200 for it. That's the only thing I really have against Apple, but I do love their stuff.

You talking about Stewart?

I think you should give Ric a citation!
Out of my jurisdiction.

You mean all three Indiana Jones films? I don't recall a fourth.

Which makes Ric likable. Other people should try to follow Ric's style.
Ric is pretty lickable.
Somebody need some killin'?!?!?!?!

Vaderisnothayden has me on his ignore list. And because of one post where I made fun of one of his rants (I just quoted his post and replaced all the text with "BAWWWWW!")
You're misrepresenting what happened. You replaced my post text with a cartoon pic of a childlike rabbit wiping away tears while going "Bawww!" The implication being that that was what my posts amounted to and, more particularly, that that was what I amounted to, which was unprovoked personal insult. And it was such petty childish shit, which really didn't impress me. And you were joining in when I was already being ganged up on. I had done nothing to you and here you were joyfully engaging in kicking me while I was down. I saw no reason why I needed to pay attention to the posts of somebody who acted like that. I mean really, why should I bother with somebody who pulls that shit? So I put you on ignore and didn't bother responding to any of the three people (yourself included) who were giving me shit on the thread, with the end result that I was able to get the thread back on topic and it moved past the personal trouble.
But my whole point is VINH is that Nanner does that to EVERYONE!! He's posted various pictures in response to my rants. If he hadn't done that to you, at some point, then you'd certainly be the exception. I think you read way too much into the smallest things and take then too personal.

Fixed! Dunno what happened.
Well, I'll try to kick this thread back on topic, seeing as how Avatar passed the 1 Billion mark yesterday and all. I found an interesting review of Avatar by a Conservative who walked away from the movie feeling that it was "a stealth conservative manifesto wrapped up in leftist gobbly gook". I found what he extrapolated interesting.

Put on top of all that, I simply like her approach, I like that she pisses off liberals so badly, that tells me they feel threatened by her. If she was so "ignorant" and "without merit" then they would ignore her, like they do Ron Paul.
Democrats I know actually love Reagan, because they think he would kill the Republican Party's chances again if he was the 1980 nominee.
Umm, makes sense. Talked it over with my Dad, since I was just a one year old at the time, and he said he'd heard this statement before!!!
I've been a Windows user since way back in the 3.0 days, cut my teeth on MS-DOS. Followed Windows all the way through the rocky ME to the superb Windows 7. To be honest, I'd love to have a Mac, have contemplated it numerous times. I just can't ever justify the added cost of getting a Mac. I'll probably fold to my geek side and get one someday, but for now I'm really digging my 7! As far as sides, I could care less, I hardly see using one OS over another as an "us vs them" scenario and truly don't understand the mentality that brings about that idea.

Well, I am going to start by answering.
I have been a Windows user my whole life. I have tried everything out there and have always been used to windows.
Windows has that pure tweakability that I like. I used Mac in high school for a Media production class, and hated it. I was never big into Linux, because I never took the time to learn it.
Have to quote, because I couldn't say it better myself.

even so, I wouldn't vote for her in the next primary if were you. Unless you want Obama to have another 4 years in the white house. She doesn't stand a chance against him.
I wouldn't go making that rush to judgment just yet. Seriously, if I were to ask you at the end of 2005 if a crook from Chicago, who happens to be black, would be our next President, you'd have said no.

Wow, do I really have to list every bullet point I disagree with? Because there's a lot.
There ya' go. I guess it's not so much she's "stupid" or "ignorant" as much as it is that you simply disagree with her positions. I happen to agree with most, which is why I adore her.
To start, my initial draw to her was that she seemed normal, not a typical slick politician. Then I started listening to her views, I agree with pretty much all of them. Anti-abortion - check, anti-hate crimes laws - check, pro-death penalty - check, anti-big government - big check, anti-gun control - check, devoted mother and wife - check, energy independence - check. If you read Sarah Palin's book and listened to her interviews you'll know that she is hammering away at one simple idea: commonsense conservatism, something I can certainly support.

Heh, well, I won't throw out the "sexist" debate, mostly because I think it is without merit in this instance. I will state that I do believe that Nanner has not given Palin an opportunity at all. I love her, I'll vote for her, that's all I got to say about that.

Lets not make this a fight, I really don't want to fight with VINH.
Okay, but perhaps a competition!! COMPETE!!
Alright!! A "Warbler vs. VINH" match!!! This has got to be good!!!
