Things you like/need that they've discontinued
Time

Just the "make you think" factor of thread makes it the best ever!!

I miss how important the TV was. Back in the day, when I was a kid, that dang TV was the centerpiece of our house for information, news, learning, and entertainment. We watched Sesame Street and learned some of what we needed. We plugged our Atari and Nintendo into it and had fun, watched the evening tv shows that entertained us (A-Team & Knight Rider), then finished out the day with the 10 o'clock news for our information. Nowadays, everything is spread out and crazy. I get some news from the TV, some from the interwebs, some from the newspaper, some from here, some from there. I get my entertainment from the interwebs, some from playing the Xbox, some from here, some from there. It's just all crazy these days. My learning from the interwebs, some from work, some from here, some from there.

I miss the good ol' days of one box, one place.

This was my drunken post of the day. Thank-you.

Windows 7

Thanks a lot,the setting was right in front of my face LOL.

Yeah, Microsoft has really turned a corner with Windows 7 and all it's features. I even use Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus and the Windows Firewall as well. No third party stuff for security purposes anymore. Now if they perfect a decent anti-malware-adware-spyware-suite, I'd be delighted.

Hot Women That Just Don't Do It For You (This thread is worthless without pics)
Time

I cannot for the life of me understand why some people think Julia Roberts is hot. She looks like a catfish.

Angelina Jolie is okay, I'd do her, but I'm really not that attracted to her.

Someone needs to take Megan Fox to a buffet.

Jennifer Aniston has a superb bod, but she definitely is a brown bag special.

Sarah Jessica Parker is proof that liquor is necessary. That woman is hideous.

I liked Sarah Michelle Gellar when she was playing the Taco Bell chihuahua. Yo quiero Taco Bell.

Paris Hilton, I'd do her only if she paid me. That chick needs to eat, but I dunno if even that would help.

Lady GaGa. WTF!?!?!

All that said, I truly cannot stand the white trashy bitches, some of the guys I work with get all worked up over those types. It does nothing for me. I love classy chicks.

Honestly, and speaking as a husband and the father of li'l girl, I did not find the misogyny offending at all. I wasn't even thinking in a serious mindset when I watched the thing, so the misogyny stuff didn't even stand out to me until some here pointed it out. I rarely notice anything offending or off-color when it is focused on being humorous. However, my line of work tends to make my sense of humor a little more morbid than most. I hella enjoyed the review and am looking forward to the next installment.

Real life friends here?

This is sort of in the same line of thought as this topic.

Have you guys ever thought how weird it would be to discover one of your fellow posters on OT.com turned out to be someone you know in real life? I'd probably end up being someone you don't get along with on the boards at all, even though your great friends in real life.

I've always just found this as something humorous to ponder.

FRIEND: Dude, you're a Star Wars fan, should check out this forum I post at. Originaltrilogy.com, it's pretty sweet.

ME: Whoa! I am a regular there already! That is awesome! Who are you? My user name is C3PX.

FRIEND: Why you... piece of shit! You are such a jerk! All this time it's been you! I've often dreamed at night of what I'd do if I ever met that bastard C3PX in real life... now we're going to find out...

ME: Uh oh... dude, put the bat down! You don't need that! Put it--

I've thought the exact same thing before.

Interview: http://www.heebmagazine.com/blog/view/2491

There's an official site.  http://redlettermedia.com/

Also seems to be the individual behind 'The United States of Noooo!!!'

Thanks for the links!

I absolutely love his humor on the reviews, but the guy lost me on the his other productions.

Good interview, really puts a personality behind the mayhem.
