Looks Great! Looking forward to this!
Looks Great! Looking forward to this!
Here’s a cool concept for when the Star Destroyers arrive at the battle of Endor-
Some great B-wing footage in 4K-

3rd episode was great! The way the Empire was portrayed in Andor was one of the highlights of that show. The tone, crisp English accents and demeanor of the officers, this really felt like the same Empire we saw in Andor. Cody going AWOL, I hope he tracks down Obi-wan either in this show or Obi-Wan season 2. I’d rather see that than Obi-Wan fight Vader again.
Thought this opening shot might be useful-

Erasing that person crouched behind the droid looks seamless.
Can you upload at Mega, and people can download the clip if they want to see it.
Did no one seriously tell Tim Curry that Valorum is pronounced “Vuh-LOR-um,” and not “VAL-or-um”?
In interviews with George Lucas he pronounces Hoth “Hothe” with a long O. So that means everyone else in the world is wrong, right?
It’s not a program you can download and do what you will with it. They control everything.
You give them the recordings and tell them what you want, and they do it for you. So if you try to use a celebrity voice without permission they’ll put a halt to it.
I was curious so I went to the website, It says you need to have permission from the talent.
Who here has James Earl Jones’ phone number?
Anyone know the differences between the Hybird Cut & the new Zod Cut?
Not often main-stream media talks about a fan edit. IGN, ScreenRant, Variety, and others have all done an article on Kai Patterson’s Obi-Wan Fan Edit. He cut it down to a 2 & a half hour movie. He removed the goofy stuff with Leia being chased by bumbling grown men. Rearranges the Jedi scene on Tatooine so Obi-Wan meets the Jedi first, the Inquisitors kill him in the bar (he doesn’t escape), and then Obi-Wan sees him hanging in the city. he also gives Obi-Wan a good reason to let Vader live after their second duel. What I like the most is the John Williams Star Wars music added throughout.
OK, Here is the sneak peek at the new ANH:R HD edit of the Obi-Wan/ Vader duel.
The editing in the HD version differs slightly from the SD version . In the final version there will be two audio tracks: The main 5.1 track will be the music less versions, while track 2 will have the added music as seen in the original SD version of ANH:R
Looks great-hated to see the clip end.
Exactly. This claim is just a bad attempt to slander the creatives behind this show. In episode 2 Obi-wan hears the name “Lord Vader” and visibly reacts to it. What he didn’t know was that Vader was still alive.
Ewan did great when he heard the name Vader. No need for Reva to name drop Anakin Skywalker.
I don’t think the production value is bad. I think they just needed to fill the sets with more stuff other than containers. Unattended Containers are stacked up everywhere. The fake-jedi’s office is a huge room with a lone desk in the middle. The streets, alleyway and rooftops are clean. They need to scatter around debris and garbage and knickknacks, stuff like that to make it feel lived in. But I think the Volume FX looks great, at least in standard def.

And there will be no HDR/ Dolby Vision colour grade. I see people ask this a lot, along with asking for a Dolby Atmos sound mix. I’m just a guy working on a home PC and not in a fully equipped professional studio. I just don;t have the facilities to be able to do things like this.I totally understand this, man, I really do. But when is the 3D version coming?
April 1st.
Why are some concerned with Leia knowing Ben is Obi-Wan. She is relaying a message from her father in the R2 recording, doesn’t mean she doesn’t know him. I actually think that it fills in a plot hole. When Luke rescues Leia, he says he’s here with “Ben” Kenobi. Leia is pretty exited at the name drop and doesn’t miss a beat. I always wondered how she would know Obi-wan as Ben. I suppose her father could have told her, but this works better.
I enjoyed both of these episodes. Moses Ingram is awesome in this role, she’s already becoming one of my favorite characters.
Also, i really really doubt they’re just gonna de-canonize Rebels.
I agree
Haven’t they said the Ashoka show will continue the story threads from Rebels? She is looking for Thrawn.
I liked it first two episodes so far.
Though it felt out of place that Reva knew that Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker.
The only thing that I’m left wondering about is if the Ronto that appears during the entering Mos Eisley scene is going to be left in or removed?

If he dewbacks are gone, I don’t think the Ronto stands a chance.
Were you able to notice any of the issues that were mentioned here?https://originaltrilogy.com/post/id/1483542/action/topic#1483542?
An example to appreciate the level of tedious work Adywan is putting into this Fan Edit. If anyone complains again about how long this is taking, show them this link.
There are programs that convert NTSC to PAL. Would that not work?
darkzip is doing an upscale of ANH:R SD so why not create your own version that has the extended DS attack when the HD verrsion is released?
Darkzip’s upscale turned out better than mine. I just ran SW:R through Topaz as is, I didn’t know enough about the controls or dials to adjust anything.
New comparison video-
