There was a debate about Luke’s severed hand falling to Bespin a while back. I have always assumed it was his hand falling. I tweeted Pablo Hidaglo about it and just realized I actually got a reply-

I think this project has definitely created new things to delay it. But after seeing footage of the augmented snow speeders in action and giant white spider, the extra time is being put to good use. I personally never had a problem with the Whampa, but the new costume is looking great and I look forward to seeing how it’s utilized.

What all the conversation over this I was curious, so I dusted off my Star Wars Laser Disc (There was really a lot of dust) to see what the engines looked like before the Special Ed. or Blurays. They were mostly pink. More white in a shot or two, more red when Vader shot R2. But for the most part they did look pink.
I don't know if it will help you out at all Ady, but I can send you DVD copiess of the Laser Discs for all three movies.
I personally really like the changes to the Death Star Plans in Revisited. So much that I used the Revisited Death Star schematic as my DVD art. I hate to see it go.
So it's official? Adywan is doing Rogue One: Revisited? So we get ESB:R in March and RO:R in April? Please add B-wings and a couple additional Wilhelm Screams. Also, I don't think Vader's chest plate blinks in Rogue One.

This crossed my mind before-consider moving this thread to a Yahoo Group, where the moderator can choose to have comments approved. It’s a shame to do something like that, but you wouldn’t be wasting energy with people who are just trying to cause trouble or ruffle your feathers. A lot of crap would get shut down before it even started.
Whampa is looking great! I have high hopes for this.
I am expecting this to be the best version of the greatest movie ever made-but no pressure Adywan. I have the day planned out. I’ll have a friend or two over,smoke BBQ ribs, and I have one last bottle of Key Lime Pie Pop I bought on vacation a couple years ago, I’m specifically saving it for when I watch Empire Revisited. It’s going to be a good day.

As for the Death Star plans, they are likely being changed back to the original for ANH:R HD ( Rogue One fixed the continuity error with the dish being on the equator in the one line about them being the “original plans”, so the dish placement was revised in the later schematics) and any mention of the death star removed from Ep 2

Though I will miss the changes to the plans you made in the ANH:R version 1. I liked that upgrade so much I used the red Death Star schematic as my DVD label.

I enjoyed Rogue One-I don’t know if I’ll ever watch Episode IV again without watching it first because the two are so well entwined. I really liked the fix of Adywan matching up the Death Star plans to Episode II. Since Star Wars Revisited is my definitive Episode IV, I hope one day someone somewhere decides do a little tweak to the Death Star plans of Rogue One so that the movies match up senselessly.

It would be cool to see Luke smash through!That’s about it, the hole becomes bigger even before he gets flung out. I guess adjusting the window would’ve been easier than training Mark’s stunt double to smash through it.
Because the focus is different from one shot (Luke in the front while the window is in the background) and the second shot (Luke and the window in the same focal plane), don’t you think ?
He means the bottom part of the window is broken out in the second scene even before Luke flies through it without an explanation as to why it’s broken, not the whole window itself changing size.
The scene works. The camera flashes to Luke before he’s sucked out the window while there are still items smashing at the window. I always just figured one of those items broke through the lower part while the camera was pointed at Luke. I guess it just depends on you certain point of view.
Paramount lists new rules for Star Trek Fan Films.
The rules are horrible. people have spent $1000s of dollars of their own money to express their love for Star Trek. I hate to see it go this way. It’s a slap in the face to the fans that kept the franchise going when the studio couldn’t. Now you can’t even wear a Star Trek shirt in a fan film unless it’s official, licensed, merchandise, not to mention the fifteen minute time limit. I was afraid of something like this might happen to Star Wars when Disney took over.
