James Bond 007 WARHEAD (* unfinished project *)
Time
SkyJedi, First off this isn't an attempt to discredit Daniel Craig at all. I'm a James Bond fan. I have found something to love about every actor who has played this character. It's not a matter of moving on. Craig is the bond of record. Does moving on, mean we have to forget the actors to played bond before? No, What harm is this fan edit? Actually Warhead was the title of the ORIGINAL McClory bond film he developed with Connery in the late 70's, which had a different plot-line than NSNA. It wasn't until after a judges ruling that McClory only had rights to make "One" remake/retelling of Tunderball. He tried using the title Warhead, Warhead 2000 and Warhead A.D. for years after Never Say Never but was never able to get it off the ground. Anyways, My first post had this information, but I guess it didn't make it somehow. Warhead is a fan edit of the 1993 Brosnan film Detonator aka death train... The title Warhead refers to the nuke on the train, while also a nod to the McClory title. The film will work as a short film ( roughly 30 mins or so ), all about the mission. It will tighten up the action, (Think of how the TND opening worked) Brosnan in the field and away from the control room. It will play like an extended pre-title seq rather than a full 3 act story. It can in a sense work as a prequel to Goldeneye (timeline wise). The film as is, is paced horribly. New sound-effects and bond score will be added, along with the gunbarrel introduced in Goldeneye. Patrick Stewart will have a role similar to M. I haven't decided if it's possible to make him M in the edit or not. I won't know until I get to that point. Alexandra Paul's role will be edited down to be a part of the team, and not a bond girl/bond's equal character. Christopher Lee of-course will be the bad guy. With the exception of Alexandra Paul the cast isn't bad, and will some tight editing and new sound, I really think this is possible. The dead bond years between 1989 and 1995 will now have at-least one mission, at least in the fan-edit world. As far as extras go, I plan on creating a teaser and full trailer. Since Brosnan almost got the role in 1987, and was even announced with it. I toyed with the idea of making trailers for TLD,LTK and the 1991 never made film. Using footage of films Brosnan did around the same time intercut with footage from the Dalton era films. This project is in no way meant to dis-credit Daltons work, or any other bond actors work. It is simply, for fun.

Time
Ok, so it looks like there is still some email issues... My cover IS NOT going to be apart of the torrent. Too bad, because I feel it is a good cover. Anyways, anyone who wants the cover can PM me. I don't understand why my emails are not showing up for McFly, I've tried everything on my end. So... I have already emailed the cover to some other people and they have received it with no problems.

Info: EXCITING news - lost "METROPOLIS" scenes FOUND!!!!!!!!!
Time
The link that was posted only contained some pics of the "lost" footage. Here is the link to the story about the "Footage". http://www.zeit.de/online/2008/27/metropolis-vorab-englisch This is really HUGE, this was thought to be lost forever. Amazing! What's next? The magnificent Amebersons cut footage? The King Kong pit seq? The cuts made from The Wizard of Oz? Anything else? One can only dream.

Idea: Some projects to consider...
Time

Well, I am a newbie here. But here are a few projects I’d like to see someone consider. The Shadow (1994) Evidently this has been playing on Starz HD recently. Since all we have gotten is a crappy full frame dvd from universal. It would be nice to see this in widescreen glory. Maybe we could also dig up some bonus material? I have the OOP soundtrack. Needful Things (extended Turner Broadcast Version) It would be nice to track this down. I of-course would love to know if anyone has considered these projects before. I’d provide the artwork ;o)

Help Wanted: 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' Laserdisc Footage - censored scene
Time
Well around the same time several dvd sites were reporting it, and when it fell apart they reported on that as well. Some sites even had a scan of the artwork, it was black with the vista series logo and looked to be in a digi-pack similar to the Unbreakable disc. I saved this picture on my old computer from the time, I might dig it up.

The AICN article was all I could find as it's been almost 5 years now. Evidently the Tracy dvd was a special circumstance, as Betty was in court over franchise rights with other people who claimed to own the rights. He even claimed a tv show and sequel were in the mix, maybe the dvd news was thrown out there as well so Betty could claim he hadn't let the go?

From what I understand Betty won the suit.

I have an extensive 1990 making of book with articals and pictures on the film dick tracy, also a cinemafatasiqe mag from 90 which has some great artwork.

If these could be scanned in, it would make for a great feature.
Also someone should add the soundtrack as a bonus feature as the cd is out of print.
Along with the trailers, tv special and various other promos if found. I do some cover art as a hobby, I would love to do the artwork for this project, maybe menus too.

Shame, disney is sitting on a vista series Warren Betty started to put together in 2002, but they pulled away the budget he wanted to produce the dvd, evidently it was going to be an extended edit aswell.
