Damn to the depths of hell the idiots who are responsible for this ludicrous display of poor taste.
Watched all of Rebels this week. I really enjoy it. It's Clone Wars mixed with the OT mixed with Firefly.
I do wonder how they're going to end it eventually, because having two fully trained Jedi and a kid with 5 years experience on Luke would probably come up in conversations during the OT. ;-)
Coming from the Trek side, people say it's because Bad Robot is trying to take over, but that's the really negative side. Personally, I think it's them politely saying their fan film is garbage and they'd rather not do Trek at all. ;-)
"high definition downloads" could mean anything. Until the reviews come in, I expect whatever the most recent versions of the soundtracks are, but bundled together.
Right, sorry.

That has been a long time in the making and all the drama that surrounded it eventually being acquired.
A milestone indeed. Well done! Is it the actual sculpture you got modified, or totally a scratch built new sculpture?
In case you missed it:
And eventually they'll send it to me. ;-)
LOL
I googled "vader veers" to find an image of it, first result is from here! Then I noticed the path is in my photobucket! Apparently, I've laughed at this here before.
The shot where Vader spins around and Veers is RIGHT THERE and I like to imagine if Vader had had his arm out to point at him it would have knocked Veers over and it makes me laugh?Asteroid-Man said:
I'm 10000% sure this has already been covered, but it's easier to just ask than search through 1276 pages - when Vader turns around to talk to Veers just before the Hoth battle and the camera does the awkward pan... did ady say whether or not he'd fix this?
Cheers
Thanks, Anchorhead!

There's probably going to be more and more press about fan edits as December approaches. Should I start a topic to collect it?
Should I order us a pizza? I already did.
They did reshare it yesterday for some reason.Harmy said:

If you want your own domain, you have to get it hosted somewhere outside of Wordpress.com. I've never migrated anything from the free wordpress.com to a domain, but I imagine it would be simple.
I'll go ahead and give you my examples:
http://doubleofive.wordpress.com is my simple blog, doesn't do much, if anything.
http://www.gingerthreads.net is my wife's shop. It's a WP instance hosted on JustHost. Change of template, some free addons, it's like a completely different thing.
If your Blu-ray player can handle MKV files, try to load the full HD file on a hard drive and play it straight from there.
That or really, Blu-ray burners are like $75.
I use WordPress, both the .com free hosting and the plug-in on actual paid hosting. WP has a crazy amount of plugins that you can do pretty much whatever you want with a basic theme on the hosted version. The free version is enough to get news out there (see the SWR blog).
As for hosting, I use JustHost for the business pages I've set up. The price is decent and they have some easy-to-use tools for your domain email and backup. And WordPress (and other formats) is just a button push away from installation.
I'm sure it looks fine, but the compression of a, what, 18 GB file into a 7.5 standard definition disc has got to be pretty bad.
Oh, you're probably talking about the AVCHD, the DVD that plays HD files on your Blu-ray player. That's not bad at all. Just some light compression artifacts, maybe.
Decided a few months ago to put our house on the market and move into a townhouse, as wed finally decided that home-ownership was not for us. We're about to sign our final acceptance before closing, so I'm super excited to not have to pay for two houses anymore!
New news!

Full shot of the HiC mold and a wampa preview!
It comes naturally. I used it in a text message before I posted it here, with someone who has no idea what it's a reference to.TV's Frink said:

"Lazy Lucas, was Lazy"
Thank you.
Why are we not complaining about this?
http://www.theverge.com/2015/9/11/9309335/see-the-star-wars-scenes-shared-between-the-two-trilogies
Have we lost our vitriol? A video supposedly showing the "like poetry, it rhymes" that could also just prove that "Lazy Lucas, was Lazy" is making the rounds, "proving" that the PT was "reverent" to the OT because the director only has so many ways he can shoot a medium/closeup scene.
In relation to this, Billy Dee Williams also voices Lando in the ESB Radio Drama, so that might help for this one.
Anthony Daniels voices 3PO in all three, but that doesn't help you at all.
Well, you need to buy them anyway. Mark plays Luke in the first two, so there's another few hours of dialog you can cut up for TRT.TV's Frink said:
