Adywan will be painting his own official cover art, as he did with A New Hope, I believe.

Due to one of the health problems i have, it is now impossible for me to paint any more of the covers for Revisited. Unfortunately drawing and painting is something i have had to accept that i will probably never be able to do again

That’s awful to hear, Ady!

I’m sorry, but if you are going to do a new series, don’t d*** around with it. Broadcast it on tv, not on some stupid CBS all access on demand service. How the heck to expect to get viewers that way? I can also see confusion happening between this new series and the new movie coming out.

The movie will be well out of theaters by then, and CBS/Paramount has always been about trying to base their entire experimental network on Star Trek. Makes sense to me.

You're wondering if Sony moved SPECTRE closer to TFA on purpose to make you have to choose whether to spend your money on it or TFA?

No, I don't think Sony is trying to take your $10 so you won't see Star Wars 6 weeks later. 6 weeks is plenty of time for a movie to make its money. I feel bad for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip. No, actually, I don't.

STAR WARS: REBELS (animated tv series) - a general discussion thread
Time

So, pre-TPM we've got Jedi in their temples, mediating disputes between senators (for some reason). From AotC on, we've got them as warrior-general's doing impossible things. Neither option seems like they had much time with the general population. Even if your planet was touched by war, its not like you're sticking around to find out of if the rumors of Jedi powers are true.

Population-wise, I imagine its like hearing about a couple dudes who live in DC who supposedly have magic powers. Politicians come to them for advice, but no one else really sees them. Eventually they lead an army in a war in the Middle East, you hear about all the cool things they can do, but you've never met them. Then you hear they betrayed the country and had to be killed. Then you're told by those same politicians that they never really had powers, it was all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

I'm just spitballing here, but for most of the trillions of people's lifetimes, the Jedi are just 10,000 guys who hang out with famous people. The Jedi were getting insular, because their ability to use the Force was diminishing. Or their ability was diminishing because they were getting insular.
