The Falcon is in the prequels (twice?). It’s been around.

Sure, but which font did you choose? 😉
No thanks. I don’t want it.
Bumping in case people want to fess up.
I will diminish, and go into the West, and remain doubleofive.
You are farther along than I thought you might be. Nice.
edit: Still can’t spell
FTFY
Honestly have no idea which side people are on with this hand holding thing but I’d like to just mention something people tend to forget which is Rey’s a loner, or at least fancies herself one. I figure that has more to do with the “don’t hold my hand” than anything else.
Watching J.J.'s film my interpretation was that this was funny that a white girl wouldn’t want a black guy to keep bugging her. It was a throwback. Not PC. I thought it was hilarious.
So JJ is a secret racist. Cool, cool.
Huh?
I’ll play it once every couple months. I enjoy my time playing, especially ship battles, but I just can’t get into it all the way.
I think it works even if you haven’t seen The Room, as Jango is transformed into this deranged character.
Wook, nothing works if you haven’t seen The Room.
Confirmed laser in the GOUT.
(see also: the October 2015 Blu-ray releases of the original saga still saying “THE COMPLETE SAGA” in defiance of that no longer being the case).
Technically that was the case as of October 2015. Now though, no longer.
Fox knew what they were doing. Putting out the same discs 4 years later at the same time Disney/LFL is releasing digital versions of 1-3 & 5-6 to lead into 7 with that title is defiance. I think Fox is indeed getting into a pissing contest to see how far they can push Disney/LFL because they didn’t get the offer to buy the franchise. The only good that can come of this is by some miracle Fox releasing the theatrical cut of “Star Wars”, but that would just be to piss Disney/LFL off more.
If that’s the case, then I was right, this is Fox pumping as much money from physical distribution without having to spend any money before they lose the rights to (most of) them. I’m not sure LFL can stop them though, they literally don’t have the rights to (see also: the October 2015 Blu-ray releases of the original saga still saying “THE COMPLETE SAGA” in defiance of that no longer being the case).
BTW, I didn’t realize before now that Adywan is disabled, also I don’t see what this article did to make mentioning that even relevant. “He’s disabled, so of course he likes to mess with Star Wars… just imagine what Lucas could accomplish if he was disabled.” If that’s not the point, then do tell me what it was.
You didn’t realize it because it’s not true. The writer made it relevant for no reason.
A lot of these early 4k home video releases are movies that were mastered in 2k and upscaled (HDR and less compression is the selling point there). We’re already compromising.
My only two real complaints about the trailer is that the asian guy with the wooden stick beating up the Stormtrooper fully dressed in armor seemed a little TOO goofy, but maybe it’s a “vibrostick”.
<cough>Ewoks</cough>
Because even Alamo Drafthouse doesn’t know the nuances behind the 4 different SE’s.
Yum, Matt Ferguson IMAX posters.
Since it was a book designed to be a low-budget sequel to the original movie, where the author was asked to reuse props, not include Harrison Ford’s character, and cut out a space battle so they wouldn’t have to shoot additional miniatures in case they wanted to make it a movie. Yeah, it sucks.
My friend tells me he found that they will be digital projections, so get ready for the 2004 SE again.
How cute – they actually believe there was only one original EU.
And that’s one of the problems with Legends, they took EVERYTHING seriously, even when the writers didn’t. Trying to keep the original Marvel Comics canon with Dark Horse Comics with books with sidebars in RPG manuals…
I thought that even the people who didn’t want the old EU to be decanonized thought the entire thing had been falling apart for a while now.
I must be the only person who thinks Rey’s theme is almost as bad as Rey’s character…
Probably not because it’s 2016 and there’s always someone who hates something but it would be a really obscure opinion.
Honestly, my dad and I’s greatest complaint about the movie was Rey’s character. If she was written better, I would’ve given the movie a much higher rating.
“My dad and I wish the mysterious character wasn’t so mysterious. 2/5”
(Frink literally told me to)
Lots of factual inaccuracies too. The guy was really nice though!
It was a badly written article all the way around, I felt.
No one cares that they did that to the original Star Trek series.
But really, I like the new sound mixes but the obvious mid-2000s TV-grade CGI kind of takes me out of it. Fixing compositing issues is one thing, but I don’t want anything actually replaced.
TNG then. If Lucas had actually just gone back and recomposited the original effects, which was the original plan, then I’m not sure we’d be clamoring for the theatrical cuts.
