I’m so excited.
I’m so excited.
Now 3PO, on the other hand…his entire involvement in the prequels is a bit more offensive.
“Where did you get this protocol droid, Senator? Oh, he was built by this random Jedi you hang out with while he was a child slave? That… makes… sense…”
The series will feature fan-favorite “Squirrel Girl” (Doreen Green) as a totally empowering fan girl—tough, optimistic and a natural leader.
Anyone but Daisy Ridley in the role and I’m out.
Wasn’t Anna Kendrick half-jokingly suggested for the role not too long ago?
She was asking for it. A bunch of actresses have been, actually.
Did they even finish those 3D conversions?
I still believe the Blu-rays are the fold down of the stereo.
Cool, 2 of the pics aren’t showing though
I rehosted all the pictures on the Wordpress in case this happened.
Beristain’s wife voted for President Trump in November and previously said she believed in the Republican’s immigration policies. In February, he ordered officials to be more aggressive in arresting and deporting those living in the U.S. illegally.
“I think our President is going to keep all the good people here,” she said in a March interview with WSBT. “He is not going to tear up families. I don’t think he wants to do that. He just wants to keep us safe."
Here is why this man was deported. The article says it but the op does not.
Beristain had a work permit, driver’s license, social security information, paid his taxes and was in the process of obtaining an immigrant visa, one of his attorneys, Jason Flora, told the news station. He had no criminal record.
Beristain during a family vacation in 2000 took a wrong turn to Niagara falls that put him past the Canadian border. When he tried to return to the country, officials denied him entrance and placed a deportation order on him, his 14-year-old daughter, Jasmine previously told the Daily News.
His wife was pregnant at the time, so he ignored the order. Beristain didn’t want to leave her alone, Helen said in a March interview.
Beristain’s deportation came on the same day attorneys filed a court document aimed at keeping Beristain in the country. The document claims he wasn’t given due process when he first received his deportation order in 2000. Beristain was deported before a judge had time to issue a ruling.
He wasn’t just targeted and returned for no good reason.
I wasn’t aware accidentally crossing the Canadian border, (which seems poorly marked as this seems to happen all the time) was a criminal act.
If they didn’t let him in and put a deportation order on him, did they not just hold him at the border and then ship him out? “We’ll let you go, but you better go back to Mexico on your own, buddy!”

Hey, this responding directly to but removing Frink’s name got old instantly.
Well to me it’s the cheapest looking SW of the entire series
Actual movie still.
No. Really? No.
I’m going to question anyone who has ANH as #4 on any list.
As I saw TFA in 70mm IMAX, (twice) it looked pretty damn good to me.
I was going to say the same thing.
Napoleon Dynamite
Nunes is no longer leading the Russia investigation.
Does it take place in the MCU or is it unrelated?
So far all live-action has been in the MCU. If so, it’s going to be hard for the other series to not constantly reference Squirrel Girl, THE GREATEST SUPERHERO OF ALL TIME.
Indeed, I want the ignore feature back.
I had an actual dream last night that the ignore feature was all of a sudden back, and frevious was already ignored for me.
Feel kinda silly with an answer that basic…
Okay then, I’ll put that unnecessary brain worm to bed. LOL
Glad you can finally stop wandering the earth and can put your soul to rest.
cue bright lights as Slob disappears like the ghosts in Casper
Someone should interview as many of the original model makers as they can and write a book. Maybe with a week-by-week breakdown of the history and construction of this model as I swear no two pictures before filming have the model in the same state.
There a project for this…
Ok, here goes…
The first Death Star had a propulsion system that toted it around the galaxy to act as a means of coercion and destruction. Presumably, it had both shield generator AND armor and a fatal flaw that was incorporated into its design was exploited.
Death Star II was fully operational at the time of it’s assault by the Rebel Alliance. Presumably, armor in place with its shield generator, which was located on Endor. However, by that rationale, the second Death Star was entirely reliant on Endor for its shield capabilities. If not for its orbit around the moon, it was subject to destruction.
So…
Did the Empire have designs on building shield generators on every system under its control? Was there a similar propulsion system or was there one at all? If there was a propulsion system and only the one shield generator, were they going to tow Endor out of orbit of its home planet and drag it across the galaxy? Were they going to build multiple Death Stars, one for each system, and build shield generators for support in their respective systems? Or could the Rebellion truly have just avoided Endor altogether if they had wanted to?
As George Carlin would say, “These are the thoughts that kept me out of the really good schools.” Thanks in advance for any assistance on this mental anguish I have suffered these 3+ decades.
DS-1 didn’t have shields, at least not very effective ones. DS-2 only had a shield during the construction phase, once all the physical gaps were filled in, it would have been indestructible on it’s own.
I have a question that I’ve been chewing on since 1983. Nobody has ever answered it and I can’t get any major content creators to answer me. Anyone up for a head-scratcher?
We can help you. We were meant to help you.
“I don’t think Bill did anything wrong.”
He wouldn’t think it was wrong, would he?
“I need someone to keep an eye on the guy I hired, I don’t trust him.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hide_and_Seek_(2005_film) is what I was thinking of. Close…
Here’s a movie I saw back in 2001.
A couple had a baby boy, but it ended getting switched with another baby. Years later, this boy turns out to be a creepy kid who exhibits weird behaviour; namely, whenever people die or disappear under mysterious circumstances, he draws pictures which appear to indicate what happened to them. In time, the parents learn the creepy kid isn’t their biological son; their real son lives in a foster home, 'cause the woman who was raising him – the actual mother of the creepy kid – is a violent psychopath who was committed.
Anyway, it turns out the creepy kid isn’t the villain of the story; it was his psychologist or something behind the murders, and the creepy kid just happened to witness him in the act. In the end, the parents take their biological son into their home to raise alongside the creepy kid, who still exhibits antisocial behaviour and will still probably grow up to be a sociopath.
I’ve actually seen this movie. It’s got one of my favorite actors in it… I’ll get back to you.
Got a video poster today and…
A what?
A poster for the video release.
Ohhhh
My thought were a hologram like poster I got real excited for a second.
See how it lists the video releases at the bottom? 😉

I’m fine with waiting for 4k, especially since I’d rather pay a couple extra bucks to future-proof (assuming a regular bd copy is included)
Part of the 4K Blu-ray standard is coming with a standard Blu-ray, IIRC. Same with 3D Blu-ray.
