Even though its not on the Wishlist thread, I'm adding it to the wishlist. Great mockup savmagoet!
Oh, THX 005 :)
I guess there no need to post it on the OT.com whishlist tread anymore?
You can if you want. Just to have it all in one place if anyone finds the wishlist and wants to see us all argue about it. ;-)

I just discovered that the article existed and now its gone? I was thinking of updating it with how the petition went and now its dedicated to fan edits.

Well they're good in that you do get shit early. And their sales make said shit dirt cheap.
edit: TROUBLE IN PARADISE?!? A PARODY TITLE CARD WITH SHOCKING NEWS!!
Every Post Title should be something like this. I love how every Japanese DBZ title gives away what's going to happen.
THE FIGHT FINISHES! GOKU FINALLY BLASTS FREIZA TO A MILLION PIECES!!!!
I wonder what happens in this one...
Welcome to the forum. I'm always awed by how many people from how many different backgrounds were affected by Star Wars growing up. It truly is something universal.
What repeated footage from TF1? Close up of OP's head or something? Just curious.

Whoa! the second is really close to the final piece.
I wouldnt like seeing the executor from the top all the time. but id like to see him all at once. It feels cheap having its engines off frame. ( an other Marvel rule)

I think it helps it feel like its so big that they couldn't fit it all in frame. After watching the bonus features for Trek 09, they said that's what they did with the first shot of the new Enterprise, deliberately made it not fit into frame so it would seem even bigger (than the ridiculous scaling they already gave it, but that's not an issue here).
How far away would the camera have to be (relatively) to get the entire ship in frame? ;-)
doubleopost!!!
I love that Angel can do 3D now.
Replacing all of them with a new puppet using the best features of all of them. :-D
Yet here Anthony is, Twittering like mad about how awesome Star Wars in Concert is and how cool it is to talk to fans. Odd.

And for those who interested,
Here is the size changes.

Nice that we can have continuity and it be a bit bigger. It seems like a pretty model to only use in one shot and for it to be so tiny. :-)

I think the opening of Alien is meant to be spartan and depressing, but your mockups are cool, as always. :-)
I've never seen the bridge on the model before! Too cool!

DAYV still has Ghost's iPod lol.
Odd that I can't figure out how to get the Caps Lock on my iPod, but GHOST can't turn his off. TRY PUSHING THE "UP ARROW" SHIFT KEY!
Not sure why I yelled that...

First, the 20m (65 feet) Tydirium shuttle continuity.
This would be awesome as its own thread over in General Star Wars Discussion.
IMHO
Oh, sorry =/ am I going of topic? I would hate to spoil Ady's thread!
I just wish to make my case on the whole star destroyer dimension issue, it shouldn't take more than 4 other posts like this one…
Do you think I should create another tread anyway?
I think its more that this would be great to discuss/debate, so we should have a thread dedicated to it, full of pictures and stuff.
I've always thought it was odd how most geeks have the same interests in common. Have any of you ever wondered why that is? Most of us seem to like science fiction, comic books, anime, computers, etc.
It's weird to think about, but it does give us a culture of our own.
I just discovered that this set existed this morning, and was hoping to run into a breakdown of it somewhere. Conveniently, Gaffer is on the same page as me.
I won't be getting it as I found out after buying the "remastered" Season 1 that, good lord, most of the series is really boring. I hope that Kai can fix that, even though I don't fully understand what its about (is it just a re-edit, or a re-animation?).
Jumping into the series at the beginning of The Android Saga in college was fun, and it was my first anime, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Just not on my shelf (probably).

Here is the concept art of the TIE shuttle made for ESB.
Actually that is concept art for the TIE Bomber done for ANH and not picked up until ESB.
Actually it's the concept art for the TIE shuttle for ANH, but the shuttle idea was abandoned in ANH and then used for the TIE bomber in ESB
I still don't see that from this:

Maybe I've just been looking at it wrong, but its always looked like a box to me, and nothing like a TIE Bomber/Shuttle. I can see frames where it kind of does, but I'm glad its gone. Series continuity for the win.
Now somebody has to do it. I don't have the fullscreen tapes to reference.
Nice to see quasi-official linkage to Zombie's excellent work. If only they would acknowledge if his assumptions are actually the truth, and why didn't they scan it at higher than 1080p?

My o my, its quite interesting to see how quickly we are embracing the industries new technology.
Is there ANYONE able to send me a copy of ANH:R on betamax tape and a Super HD copy, so i can compair image quality?
Gotcha covered on the Betamax (Hi-Fi even). What's your address? ;)
I've considered making a full-frame VHS-quality version of Revisited, just to imagine what an alternate reality version of my childhood would have been like. Sounded like a fun project.

"standard definition DVD". That better? ;-)
Exactly. A 720p AVCHD playable in Blu Ray players and a standard DVD.
