I really loved the end of Season 3 and all of Season 4. The finale of Season 3 reminded me of Ocean's 11, which is an awesome thing.

I was watching Returning to Jedi today and noticed that Wedge has to close his S-foils to get through the gap the Falcon loses its dish in. Another little detail I'd never noticed. So cool.

I need to get MoESB, but Rinzler said on his blog that the next printing wasn't going to have the SE shots. Apparently the publisher replaced his shots from the GOUT with SE shots when the felt the quality wasn't high enough. Ironic, really.

If I remember correctly, in the original/theatrical version, Luke and Ben talk about Luke's father for a bit, stop to watch Leia's video, then pick up with "YOU must learn the ways the of the Force if you are to come with me to Alderaan." In the scripted/Revisited version, they watch Leia's video, then stop to talk about Luke's father and the Force before deciding to go.nightstalkerpoet said:

You can see Threepio moving around when he's supposed to be shut down in the original cut due to the rearranging. It was redited because the scripted version made Obi-wan not look in a hurry to rescue Leia since he listens to her message and then sits around gabbing with Luke for a few minutes before bringing it back up. A problem with the theatrical cut could be that they don't watch the message for several minutes, but that could be that they were so busy catching up that they forgot R2 was there at all.
After watching the scripted/Revisited version so often, the original/theatrical edit seems disjointed, as you can now "see" the seams where it was grafted together.

The first scene was recolored to match the original wrong colors, I believe Luke's head is matted separately or at least the color is. This should have been redone in v2 because of the new HD source.tac2 said:

The first scene between Luke and Threepio is very blurred and in the second one there's a distinct blur on the right part of the Falcon.
I'm just curious to hear if it's from the original movie or if this is something being worked on in the soon to come version 2 I just heard of?
The second image was blurry due to Harmy having to use a picture of a movie screen in order to get the original matte just right. He has come into better sources for v2.
You hardly need to worry, we've got this. ;-)
