Well, it sounds incredible. You did some amazing work here. Definitely doesn't sound MIDI-like at all!

I knew as soon as this was announced that this would be the weekend my friends were coming over. And sure enough it is. I won't be able to make it...
Damon Lindelof joked on Twitter that it's good they got an R because the PG-13 cut was 11 minutes long.
I wish I could say, "I was your age when I was playing it new!", but its not quite true. Someday I'll be old like Frink...
Episode I now has nostalgia. I feel like Frink! Get off my lawn!bkev said:
^Tune in and find out! It's an acquired taste. I dont hate it, but you could chalk that up to both nostalgia goggles and my being more a casual gamer.
Downloaded, imported into my Google Play Music and arranged! Thank you so much!
I'm beginning to wonder if I turned the music off when I played. This music isn't as familiar as I would have hoped!
There we go, thanks! ;-)Akwat Kbrana said:
BTW, if anyone finds the prospect of downloading each track individually somewhat daunting, it looks like you can use JDownloader to queue up a batch-download.
How do I make it into mine?
While the thread was loading I was thinking "please be a completed project announcement and not a request..."
It works. Padmes "I'm a senator" whine cracks me up every time.
Avengers
Totally awesome. Whedon nailed everything. I think it was a bit slow at the beginning, but I can't imagine how any of it could have been done better. I don't think it could be a stand-alone movie, but then I didn't expect it to be.
And I could see *spoiler* coming as soon as they announced the director.
The alarm sound is from the original trailer for the original movie, its supposed to make you feel uneasy.
I'm interested! Love the Stan Lee narrator idea. I think if you did a narrator in those parts, you'd want him for the rest too. "MEANWHILE AT STARK MANOR!"
My favorite part is force-pushing the crowd. This one alien says "STOP PUSHING ME!" over and over again.
I had this for PS1. What a terrible, awful game. I'd love to see it again!
So we put the down payment down on our table yesterday. Felicia Day is jealous and wants to see it when we get it.doubleofive said:
We've been considering it for a while, and finally decided we're going to start saving up for one of those Geek Chic tables. We saw them at GenCon Indy last year and were impressed. They are solid wood, custom built tables with a lowered play floor with an acrylic bottom for drawing, but deep enough that you could put the top back on and have a very nice dining room or coffee table. Stealth nerd stuff.
Should be fun, put it on my calendar*!
*5 putting something on his calendar does not guarantee actual follow through.
Absolutely perfect in every way. ALLOL.TV's Frink said:

Wife says I can watch it while she's getting her hair cut. Burning disc now!
I may try to convince the wife this is how we need to celebrate May 4th.
How I'm celebrating:
One of my great regrets of my college years is that I didn't spend more time playing D&D. We had a huge group, 7 or 8 of us. I spent the time chasing the wrong girls. I still have all of my character sheets, unfortunately I don't recall most of the campaigns.
I do remember the one I missed out on, this huge campaign was ridiculous. My roommate had spent the summer creating the world and scenario. This was still 3rd Edition, so combat movement wasn't relegated to minis. Basically, if we rolled well, we could do anything. I was playing a rapier-wielding smartass called "Jayne". Unfortunately, I kept missing sessions because of girls (we played in the boys dorm, no girls allowed).
I had a few DMs in college, each with a different style. My roommate would let you do almost anything as long as you could justify it. He also described everything in incredible details, like the linguist he is. My coworker had an encyclopedic knowledge of the rules, which he followed to the letter. I'd like to think I try to balance the two, but I'm sure I just suck. I've never run a campaign of my own, just one-shots or pre-mades from Wizards of the Coast. I don't trust myself that much. I'm really nervous about trying to integrate ideas from other sources. Another blog changes everything outside of the Keep on "Keep on the Shadowfell", which I'm going to try to use because its so much better than what Wizards has. I just don't want to be shuffling papers/browser tabs all night to keep things straight, especially when my wife is always bringing first time players over. It's a lot of pressure!
Admittedly, I do like the idea of iCloud and so forth, but I don't trust even Google (he types from his Chromebook) enough to have them keep my movies. What if the studios decide Apple can't store their movies anymore? What if your account gets hacked? I'd much rather still have the disc and all of its features, where the studios won't throw a fit because they feel like they're losing money somehow.
Ghostbusters 2 doesn't have to take this abuse from you. It has hundreds of people dying to abuse it.TV's Frink said:
Meh.
Count me in among the "I'd much rather own the movie than own the rights to it" crowd.
