I have a Star Wars paper plate from my birthday party in 1978.
I have a Star Wars paper plate from my birthday party in 1978.
In before Greeny... DOUBLE STANDARDS!
Leonardo, I hate to be Professor Hardarse but I did pull none up for using the actors who deliver the lines in the quotes. Technically it should have been:
OFFSCREEN ACTOR 1: There's something alive in here!
OFFSCREEN ACTOR 2: That's your imagination.
(with no actual offscreen actors in the scene the above stated verbatim is sufficient).
Any future deviation from standard procedure will incur heavy penalties.
Ziggy your dvdactive entry is unacceptable.
Rogue, watch that spelling buddy.
I am now running this thread.
/Prof. Hardarse.
And,
Now there are two of them!

Mad...Mad...Mad did you say? Did you call me MAD!!!!!!?
(only you'll have to speak up as I'm wearing a towel).
Fixed.
How about for twister and none: an all-grey "silhouette" minifig?
No I check it out occasionally but never signed up or anything. Follower is fine :P How about apprentice?? Want to send me your template and any "rules" so I don't do something like... make all my other torsos as rectangular as the Vision one and make your work look bad? ;)
*also, love Anchor's Chuck Taylors :)

You guys need to watch ADigitalMan's "Superman Redeemed", which combines the best of III and IV into one excellent watch!
I was just at FE.org today and saw that. Don't think I want to buy the originals though :(
And thanks for your comment CP3S, if you don't stick up for the bad movies you love, who will??

I decided to add them to my deviantART account, both because I like to store stuff there, but to see if anyone adds them to their favorite pieces. doubleKO and Johnny Ringo have already been faved, but that's mostly because some people just fave whatever the newest piece is that shows up at the site. (no offense, that's just the way it is. I almost never hear again from people that fave my stuff)
I'm more interested in faves that happen after a while when they're not on the front page of the site. ;) I could see some of my "followers" faving them just because they like my work. I might get some from the fact that I added the search words 'lego star wars' to the description, too.
I think I am one of these "followers" of which you speak. I might have to sign up and fave my faves.
Ah yes, there is a whole thread to welcome Sunset Newday.
Seems that's why she is here!
*to be honest, from her username I thought Zig may have started a joke thread to welcome a spambot. :P
A masterpiece!
Superman III
If you remember enjoying this movie as a kid and haven't seen it since, learn from my mistake and keep it that way. 3 half-cents out of 10.
Maybe an extra half-cent for the "fire rockets at Superman" video game that really fires rockets at Superman.

This set isn't complete without Frink and greenpenguino.
I think Frink is invisible and we just have to "deal with it".
Wow, CP3S has teeth! Spiffy!

It's "A Hard Day's Night", 2KO.
Good job!
Don't make me put the Fink t-shirt back on... ;)
Nice of you to drop by Professor Lazyarse! ;)
That's great, is it really from a movie?
Rockets! Always with the rockets!
I can't stop! BTTF t-shirt.
Woo! More soldiers for the LEGO army!
What's this about the Hoff?

As for accuracy, see http://www.rarebricks.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/lego-jango-fett.jpg for a reference. Both sides of the torso taper the whole way.
Nah, trapeziums make me look fat...
timdiggerm said:
Those are pretty great, although I do think the minifig torso is a little more tapered than you're showing it to be.
That is partly my fault if you are going by all the pics of LEGO me in this thread. Ripplin had to change the shape of the torso on mine slightly to accommodate my massive Vision logo. I'm now altering the other shirts I've made to the original vision body shape.
edit - fixed.
LOL. Takes me back to making prank calls with the Arnie soundboard...
