What's your Personal Canon?

It's like when a production studio sends out casting calls for an "Adam Carolla type" and then when Adam Carolla shows up to audition, they reject him and cast someone almost exactly like him, but who isn't him.

Tyler Labine is sometimes a better Jack Black than Jack Black...

My personal canon is the Original Trilogy.

Prequels/Clone Wars are part of the "Lame Universe". In the regular Star Wars universe, there is no Qui-Gon Jinn. He therefore does not encounter Jar-Jar, find a significantly different Lame Universe Anakin or train Obi-Wan to be a dumbass who can't find a planet. In the real, yet non-existent prequels Yoda trains Obi-Wan, who then finds the REAL Anakin, who becomes the bad mofo in the Vader suit...

The force is not nearly as powerful in the Lame Universe because its power comes from bacteria rather than a mystical energy field that binds the universe together. Consequently a room full of Lame Universe Jedi are unable to sense a Sith two feet away and can be killed rather easily by deliberately retarded clone troops. Pointy lightsabers, different fighting styles, the possibility of the dark side being stronger, nonsensical chronology and continuity errors - all explained!

Star Wars coming to Blu Ray (UPDATE: August 30 2011, No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!)
Time

Love the new sig, sky guy.

I am really enjoying this. I'm glad the Blu Rays have more changes and that the official release will suck worse than ever (except for more difficult de-specializations).

I am optimistic that a lot of apologists, gushers or whatever you want to label them are finally going to understand how a lot of us feel and begin to question Lucas' decisions like never before.

Hopefully the trend of calling Lucasfilm out on these changes will continue in the mainstream media and snowball into a worldwide backlash.
