I saw a goofy mongo kid yesterday - it made me feel good about myself.

Please explain... was he from the planet Mongo, Congolese, from a small town in Indiana, from a city in Chad, Steve McMichael, a Cuban Jazz percussionist or suffering from Down Syndrome?
That's what I was afraid he meant. Thank goodness he meant skateboarding, which is still probably based on that terrible definition.

I couldn't resist using the unfortunate term to seem like I was being crassly insensitive toward a differently-abled youth. I realise the humour is in somewhat poor taste and I apologise if anyone was offended.

Can anyone explain briefly the differences between the Theatrical/Director's Cut/Special Editions of the Alien series and which they think are better? Likewise with Terminator 2 and Blade Runner?

Use this thread for Q&A and discussion of other movie cuts if you like, or get in before Frink with a silly hairdo pic. Please try to label any major spoilers for those that haven't seen the movies in question.

Does anyone know of a good website that details these things?

What programs had references?  I've noticed a bunch, but I watch too much tv and am spotting them all the time.  Eastbound and Down, Whitney, Big Bang Theory, Chelsea, Comic Book Men, Colbert, Daily Show, Todd Margaret in the last month or so.

Big Bang Theory and Eastbound and Down are the ones I remember from last week. This week 30 Rock and Archer.
