I’m making a Ep1 edit and I’m using HAL9000’s edit as a base but want to include this.

I found it then lost it, but even going through it on the official Bluray release I can’t find it. I know its supposed to be somewhere before the Battle of Naboo. Timestamp, anyone?

The most popular one’s are L8twr’s, Secior’s and Hal9000’s.

Personally I like Hal’s the best. It’s simply astonishing and (gasp) almost makes the prequels interesting plot wise. PLus he did some color correction work and added film grain, as well as cuts aimed to make it more like the OT and fit into that timeline more.

I like them so much I’m currently editing them to my own preferences, to make my complete edit.

The problem with this shot, is that Ben and Beru never stop talking, which makes it hard to include Luke and Biggs talking on the background. If you have a better solution than the one presented on the video, please share.

I’m still cutting Dooku’s saber. Funny fact here: i might have to start all over again, but i’m still not sure. You see, instead of making a new saber from scratch and then putting it over the original saber, i added a Yellow filter to the saber. Didn’t ocurred me at the time, that the filter will also affect ALL other lightsabers that get close to Dooku’s saber. So every time the blue saber gets close, the saber will start looking pink-purple colored. It actually looks (in my oppinion) pretty cool. Here’s a clip so you can see what i’m talking about:

Note: I already did more frames, this is just a small piece of it.
If you want me to fix it, i’ll do it, but it will take more time.

I’ve always wondered whether there’s a massive difference between 720p and 1080p, especially for a film like SW. Looks great as it is!

These are great, but I have one minor niggle: for episode 1 the top of the droid just clips the text at the top which in my opinion (as well as in the other two cases) do not touch?

Hi guys sorry if this has been previously discussed, but I’m a real fan of the standard despecialized covers. I know there are loads of great artworks out there, but for me these just fit really well, if not the best. Literally the only problem being is that all the info for the audio and subtitles are from v1. Are there any plans to update them to v2 and would anybody be willing to edit them?

Okay so I made some covers from artwork of the Star Wars Identities exhibition. I’ve only made the front, not the back so technically they’re only posters. I tried to go minimalist. If anyone has anything they want to add to the set just post here.

I did notice that chapters 24 & 25 blend together? Ch 24 is like 5 secs long? Both Chapters deal with the Millennium Falcon, when Ben & Luke are walking to it. I guess since I never watched the movie with the Chapter Number displayed, never saw this.

Actually I need this as well. I want an insert with chapters and the various audio and language options etc (unfortunately the standard covers show options for v1 😦 )

Maybe you need to just go through all the movies and note them down manually? yeh itd be a buttache but it would be reliable…
