Ernie Anderson narrates this look at the making of Richard Donner's blockbuster 1978 film. Behind-the-scenes footage, as well as scenes from the film, reveal just how audiences were able to "believe a man can fly". This program features interviews with key cast and crew.
This DVD contains the "Making of" special that is NOT included on the regular DVD release of Superman: The Movie.
Other special features include: -- Original Release Trailer -- Unreleased Theatrial Re-Release Trailer (2001) -- CNN/People Tribute to Christopher Reeve -- Featurette on the Zoptic System (From British Television)
The documentary wouldn't fit on the second disc along with the other documentary. In order to fit all the extras on there, i had to put them onto the two discs. Secondly, the program that I used to make the MPEG version of the film has a set rate that only used about half of the second layer. Currently there is no way to use up any more space with that program. So I figured I'd push the other documentary to the first disc. Trust me, quality is VERY important to me as well but I figured, at this point it's just a placeholder until WB releases an official version and the documentaries are excellent as is the film at this point.
Mentor...
There is NO comparison. I'm not kidding you. It's night and day.

Can't you just reconnect that drive and direct that torrent to look into that file? Seems pretty simple.
Originally posted by: tweaker By Superman, do you mean the Making of Superman stuff? Me want. Badly.
BTW, would you ever be willing to rip the Jack Lemmon commentary from your transfer of Glengarry Glen Ross and up it somewhere as an MP3 file? The DVD is easily available, but I'd like to hear what Lemmon had to say...
Edit: And people are now finishing the ginormous torrent...
GGR will be a disc on it's own. The laserdisc had 2 different commentaries that never made it to DVD. I also have some interviews and commercials from the original release that I will put on there. Not to worry.
Yes...I just need someone to make 1 menu screen each for The Making of Superman, Superman 2 and Superman 3. Plus I'll need a cover for Superman 3 (already have one for the other two).

You could always shut it down for the time it takes to burn and then go back to seeding while you enjoy the discs.
Originally posted by: Highnine Can someone explain why I am showing no other seeds (I am currently seeding) and 74ish (come and go) peers. I am currently using Azureus as my client. I haven't seen this much inconstancy in a torrent for some time.
Highnine
Sorry. No problems here. 33 seeds here plus 62 peers.
BR is almost done. It will be very nice to actually shut my computer off tomorrow. It will get some rest and hopefully I can put something else up. Anyone want to help out with Jaws or Superman?
Good then. By tomorrow night, there should be a ton of seeds, judging by how many people are right around the same percentage. That should help speed everything up.
Winman, yes i did. I have a TON of PVT messages to go through.

FYI: I've been working on logo removal with Adobe After Effects. That logo can be removed, and I am going to apply the removal to this great presentation of the film. It’s a kind of blending of the background / foreground images that hides the logo from the naked eye.
FF
Well most of the logo is in the black widescreen band so that shouldn't be too difficult to get rid of.
