It comes in a plain black VHS case with the a black and white "20th Century Fox" sticker on the outside.

The VHS itself is 10 mins long and shows a condensed version of 'The Making of Star Wars'. The label reads "Demonstration Only"

The video ends with "May the Video be with You"

Does anyone know anymore about this item?

Thanks
J

Was this just on Ebay?? I'd love to get a copy of it.

No preference on the font. I can tell you that I used "Impact" on the menus.

To be honest, I dont' know the source of mine. It's very possible that it's Rikters. I'm not sure. I got it from someone here a while back and it's 16x9.

It's not mine and don't claim it to be, and I'm 100% sure it's Citizen's transfer.

I have release a version of Citizen's Anamorphic transfer to match my other Blade Runner releases as his had no menus or chapter stops - I also give him full credit for the transfer in the NFO and on the DVD

Well...guess I'll mention that on myspleen. Didn't know whose it was.

As I stated on myspleen, i only have a scan of the one that was made for me several years ago. No one else has made any so please feel free. I have none for the making of 3.

Also, if anyone would like to help me out with the Jaws releases, those will be next.

Yeah, the PAL cannot possibly offer much more than a HD version...even with the extra lines.
Can't wait till the HD logo can be edited out from this version!

If you're holding off on this simply because of a translucent HD logo that shows up for a couple of seconds, you've got issues.

Hmm...I thought it was for the entire film; what seconds/part does it come up on? Are you still going to fix it anyways?
I'm also holding off because I don't have any DL-disc/DL-burner & even if I did, my college blocks all forms of Torrents (no matter what program I use), so its all kinda a mute point to me anyways...

Nope. I'm not fixing anything. The release is as good as i can make it. And I'm not going to replace those shots with the DVD or something because overall, the quality is fantastic. It doesn't last long and you guys should all remember, this isn't intended to REPLACE the eventual release. This is to tide you over.

And someone needs to tell the guy on myspleen that he's crazy before I do. He's telling me that this isn't genuine HD. Morons.

Like i said before this hdtv has far more detail especially in dark scenes.

Thank you.

And PAL may have 100 more lines of resolution but it also speeds things up. I'd rather have a great looking transfer at the proper speed than one that's just slightly better and everyone sounds like they're on helium. I'm not a fan of PAL.

All boxes are now REQUIRED to have Firewire. It's actually a law.

And thank you for backing me up. There is no way IN HELL that the PAL version is better than the HD version. I think you're mistaken, R....about a great many things.

Then you'd be the first to say that.

digitalfreaknyc, I would love to know what he used to capture it as far as hardware goes. I'm looking to get a good card that can do HD and the transfer on the DVD you made is incredible. If you get a chance to ask him, I'd be extremely grateful.

You don't need a capture card. You need firewire. I know everyone that does it just has a PVR and sends the file via firewire to their pc.
