I made an error on Chapter 2. It's from From T.V. (USA Watermark) - Stereo, not from the offical VHS.

Looks like i'm going to have to compare which one is better: your USA watermarks or my original broadcasts.

Not much good. As when one tries to sign up, One gets this message "We are a private site now and require an invite to join. Please do not request to be invited on non-invite forums, thanks. "

Just saw that.

I've got some of the VHS videos, including the Vampire one was was never shown or something?

Jobel,

Open up your PM's. Maybe we could work together on those.

Yeah, DFNYC's was "better", but remember that Rikter's copy came from a source using older equipment...it was state of the art in 2000

Enh. Not really. My DVD recorder isn't much newer than that and it's what I used to make it.

I love the Indy releases - keep 'em coming. The Making of TOD in particular was a fantastic release full of nice little rarities.

Has anyone compared Rikter's DVD transfers to your transfers, quality-wise? I had Rikter's two Raiders making-ofs already, and I haven't seen your versions yet.

I never downloaded Rikter's so i have no idea what his quality is like. Keep in mind that one of the Raiders discs has a bonus featurette that's not on Rikters.

if it's stuck at 99.9, isn't it being seeded now? Not even I have a complete 100% copy, for some reason.

Yes I did. Thank you. I've been so madonna-d out at this point. Tonight is my 5th show this tour and in the last 8 days. I'm exhausted.

We all know that LD xfers are ungodly soft and have terrible colour balance, so even if the LD fact sites are correct about it being a 2:35 originally - it matters none. You just can't compete with 14.25mbps/avg. video, period.

And being that the capture contains only one audio stream, no menu, and no extras, a dvd conversion will look simply spectacular. The entire capture will fit on a DL dvd with only ~8% bitrate degradation (given the proper encode). Scoff and whine all you want, but some of us who own anything nicer than a 1024x768 CRT and a 1960's-technology tube television will sit back and enjoy this classic in all it's HD glory. Is your hd/sdtv 2:35:1? I didn't think so

I have a proper 2.35:1 version of it already, thanks. I'll stick with the PROPER aspect ratio. And no, it's not Super 35.

And I have an HDTV...and an HD DVD player.

Let's knock off the childish comparisons of systems.

So did you check it out?
