Has anyone figured out the deleted scenes from Xbox?
Is the UK Blu-ray region free?

UPDATE: Nevermind, just downloaded an iBook sample and the iBook is CLEARLY better and higher resolution. Some photos in the Kindle edition are pixelated, and crystal clear on the iBook. Kind of miffed that the difference wasn't advertised, however, can't complain to be paying $12.99 twice for this collection of amazing content.

Isn't the BD for TDK slathered in DNR and edge enhancement? Is there any alternate HD source without those problems?
It is, and being as it was the first BD I ever owned I did not realize how unnatural it looked until I got a few other discs to compare to.
I know occasionally it's on HBO and other premium channels but the whole movie is usually presented at 1.78:1.
You can just get it from Vudu. Both TDK and TDKR are in 1 aspect ratio.
Anyone else get this?

Color me....VERY underwhelmed. Wow.
Fair enough. But on a site where just rumors of news get people buzzing, you can't be surprised that some of us are excited to see some unseen BTS footage.

The Editdroid Facebook page has links to some videos I've never seen before, one about lightsaber tests, another one being an Episode 4 blooper reel. Cool stuff.

So the digital version of these books has only been out for a few days, and already certain people are ripping it and sending copies of it to each other?! Way to go!
Did it not occur to anyone here that the author might VERY well hang out here sometimes.......? Instead of copying it why not support his work by PAYING for a copy? There's a ton of hard work that has gone into these books, the least we can do here is to support work like this - as we support certain projects here - not copy it as if we were entitled to it. Not like this is a preservation project or something...!
Not cool...

regarding the drm of the ibook... i might be able to help, if someone can send a copy of the full ibook. contact me through pm.
Is there a quality difference between the ITunes and Kindle versions? There certainly is a huge size difference, unless one of the sites isn't accurate.
The pod race was, apparently, not the extended version. It's the original theatrical version. So it's different. Not sure if there's anything else different about the sound mix or anything like that...
Also, here's the laserdisc. It's going for pretty cheap on ebay!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/THX-Laser-Disk-WOW-/300995754578?pt=US_Laserdisc&hash=item4614beba52
I still can't wait for this.
Btw...I checked the DVD that I have and it looks like you have all of them.
As a suggestion, I would also include the Episode 1 Pod Race and my DVD has the DCS Cubes trailer as well. I know it's not DD/THX/DTS but it's cool for what it is.
Hell, if you could get a laserdisc transfer of the original THX disc, that'd be awesome.
Had I known about this, I would have bid. And I would have paid more than $700 for it. That's nothing.
Ugh. So are we only going to get facebook clips? Probably with the logo all over it?
Did anyone bother to see the clip I posted last page?

A lot of members here "would really love it" if you could give an update on the Star Trek Disc you were going to work up, or is this ditched now? or private perhaps?
Did anyone purchase this? It was a VERY limited run and I didn’t know about it until after the fact. Would really love it.
Anyone?

Is this the same source (before he sold it)?

Also, in an effort to not derail this thread, is there another to discuss VHS decks?
Looks to be from the same broadcast, but the WHIO has better colour and less distorted sound. The YouTube clip is definitely a generation or two further away from the one Tasjo has provided us with.

Btw...I don't know if someone might want to contact this person:

Looks like a great master.
