True, in fact I'd put 'Like A Prayer' up there with Shakespeare and Beethoven. That reminds me, I haven't listened to that track the usual 50 times this week.

Papa Don't Preach >>>>> Like a Prayer.    In fact almost everything by her before 1989 is better than Like a Prayer.

Wow. I'd heartily disagree. As a die-hard fan, LAP is still my #1. It's still a brilliant song.

I'm not looking for TV rips. I'm looking for well done captures ;) Everything you find on torrents looks like crap with reduced re-encodes :(

Really?  What sites have you been using?  my internet connection is not fast enough for amazon video to work with but Utorrent works fine so some times when my time recorder screws up I buy the episode on amazon but download it off of a torrent site and every time I have done it as long as I pay attention to file info and user feedback the episode looks as good as an official release or something I captured myself.

I am really surprised that you can't find good files on a torrent site.

Nothing i see compares to what I capture. Bitrates are, by and large, crap.

4K restoration on Star Wars

Yeah, but the market is going to become what it is in Japan: astronomically high prices for everything physical. It's already shifting that way with Twilight Time catalog titles.

I'd rather pay $30 for a blu-ray copy of the movies I'm looking for than not have them at all...or only have a download option.

And, yes, that's the way the market IS going. Bring on the days of laserdisc when everything was released, even if you had to pay a premium. BD is dying right now.

Sounds like a choice of stealing it via torrent or stealing it via Ebay.  If the only two options are both ethically and legally challenging, why does it matter if there is a market catering to people who don't know how and don't want to learn to steal it via torrent?

Because why let people profit off of stuff they shouldn't be profiting off of?

*yawn* That's fighting a losing battle.

Disney does not want what just happened.

Boos for Greedo. Muttering at Jedi Rocks. But the ENTIRE theatre yelling and jeering Hayden SO loudly...
As opposed to my screening where people applauded.
Cheering because it was the end of the film or because it was Hayden? No, seriously, I want to know. I wonder if there's a divide in the kinds of fans regionally.

Hayden.

I couldn't believe it. I wanted to throw up.
