All I have to say is that when I saw AOTC in the theaters, I could have sworn I saw Portman's nipples just sticking out of that white outfit of hers, and when I rented the DVD I was greatly disappointed and I havent watched it since.

Okay, saw Ep3 twice over the weekend and I must state that even though the Wookies were underused I still prefer the Ewoks. Before you start flaming... for those of you that have seen the Holiday Special (shudder) that's all I could think of when Chewbacca and Talfor (sp) were conversing with one another as they said goodbye to Yoda. I can't take wookie speak seriously -- the special tainted me. The Ewoks gave a sense that even though they were short, furry primatives, they had a language that you felt was real. If I want to speak wookie, I'll talk to dogs and walrus'. Lucas wanted to have the wookies in Ep6 but couldn't. Now in Ep3 he basically recreates the Ewoks but taller and technologically advanced (minus the Tarzan yell). So... as stated in Clerks: "all Jedi had was a bunch of Mupputs", I still prefer the Muppets.

Still, I say punish the insider, not the fans. Punish the guy selling it, not the Joe Smoe who just wan'ts to tide himself over until the DVD after seeing it in theatres three times. ROTS made it's money back before it was even in theatres from what I heard. It's breaking records and could become one of the highest grossing films ever. Just about everyone will see it. This film made over 150mil in 4 days for crying out loud.

but I fail to see how this relates to age?
Read above- I gave up that particular hypothesis when I started seeing the results come in.

I've realized that this films, I think more than the other PT films, will be the 'love it or hate it' film of the SW Saga. I accept that readily, but I have noticed that many other folks here are ready to pounce on people who have strong feelings one way or another

Samuel L Jackson isn't the problem, it is the character of Mace Windu which is. I mean, why is he the only person in the Star Wars universe with a purple lightsaber. Why couldn't he have blue/ green like everyone else. Why is he the special one?
SLJ's acting/ interpretation of the character is also terrible, and the "second baddest person of the universe" shouldn't be so clicheed.

What exactly are the people of the US supposed to do for the rest of the world? How much of the blood of our citizens has been spilled over the past century liberating or protecting other countries? How much of our food has gone to feeding the hungry? How much money has our country shelled out bailing out failed economies, or rebuilding tsunami devasted countries a world away? When will the people of the world solve their own problems instead of looking for the US to bail them out? Do the corrupt/failed governments of the world bare any responsibility for the terrible state their countries are in? Who gives anyone the right to demand that we give more? If you sincerely believe that what I've said above is brainwashing, you need help man.

Yes, but there are a few specific DONT'S when taking a girl to a Star Wars film:
* Don't make malicious jokes about your "lightsaber".
