I can see where this is headed and I’m giving up now to save myself the time and aggravation.

Anyway I’m done like I said.

ah, the Frink gambit.

Or I could spend several pages and days arguing with you guys. That always goes well.

or we could spend several days discussing it intelligently without wisecracks and insults and actually listen to each other and learn something, but heaven forbid we do that.

Oh Warbler. How foolish you are. Thinking someone could learn something from an argument on the Internet. Now that’s what I call delusion!

That’s an unfortunate belief. I’ve learned a great deal from the opposing viewpoint in this very thread. If you have not, then the fault is yours, I’m afraid.

May I suggest you cut all of the Emperor’s scenes before the confrontation? Neither of the scenes add anything besides the Enperor bossing Vader around (which sort of diminishes his character). With constant allusions to the Emperor (Moff being scared, Yoda’s warning) there would be a lot more tension when Luke meets him if we haven’t either. It would let the audience build him up throughout the movie.

That is an interesting idea. My only question is how to get him on board the Death Star without revealing him. Perhaps wipe to new scene while he descends the ramp of his shuttle so we only get a brief glimpse of him with his face obscured.

  • Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed - This one goes more into the mythos and epics that influenced Star Wars and is a sequel documentary to Empire Of Dreams. Sadly it’s never gotten a proper release though screeners do exist.

This looks fantastic. Over two hours and produced in 2007.
Would you happen to be able to PM me where to find it?

It’s on YouTube!
